Grammar, orthography, punctuation! It's totally not possible to understand what you mean. Either you want to see other players in uniform which you've installed, or you want them to wear original uniform even though you've installed another one. If it's the first case, then it's exactly as the game works. When you install new skin for an unit every player which plays as this unit will wear this uniform. But be aware, that all these modifications are client-side, so only you will see this new uniform. All other players will see oridinary NW uniforms on their computers. If it's the second case, then it's just not possible. When you install new skin you replace the uniform for chosen unit, so any player who uses this unit will wear uniform you've installed. You cannot install skin just for your character.

Also, please remember, that it's not a topic for general questions about modding or about skins. Your questions no longer concern my skins, but general topic of skinning, so you should post them in different thread.

Upper case on the beginning of sentence is not everything, but it cerainly helps. You need do extract all files from the archive and paste them directly to your NW folder (probably something like .../Steam/steamapps/common/MountBlade Warband/Modules/Napoleonic Wars/). Then Windows should ask you if you want to replace existing files and of course you have to agree. That's all, nothing more should be required. If skins doesn't work after this, fault have to be on your side only. Maybe you have some other skins or mods installed which may collide with my uniforms. It is important to remember, that you can have only one skin from my repository for each faction installed. If you also use skins from other modders, then they may collide with mine even, if they replace units in other factions.

I'm afraid I am not able to understand your messages. Please follow the rules of grammar and orthography (especially punctuation) to make your messages understanable. Also, bear in mind that double-(or, in your case, even tripple)-posting is not encouraged on any forum. You should use edit function to alter the content of your previous posts instead of creating new ones.

So you guys want an update despite the fact, that none of you have even sent any plans? Volk, maybe it's a sign that you should indeed update the game? It's over a month now, I wouldn't expect anyone to send you any plans after all this time. Either they'll start playing again after an update, or the game is already dead.
If we take this Late Penalty into consideration then they're all already twenty days after our two weeks deadline. You've once stated that one day of real-life delay is equal to one week of in-game delay. So all their orders would be already delayed for about five in-game months. One turn is three months, so any new orders wouldn't even matter now. I don't think longer waiting makes any sense now.

Soo... update?

P.S. what is this placeholder topic for?

Sorry for not answering earlier. Thanks for your appreciation (and for bumping my thread ;) ). Unfortunatelly I'm no longer making skins, so there is no chance that I'd make British one for American Revolution period (even though I love the design of British troops from this era, I regret I didn't make one).
I'm not sure what you mean by your second question. I've made these skins with OpenBRF and graphic softwares like Corel or 3ds packages. Winrar is only there to put whole skins in one file easy to upload and download from the remote server.

Two weeks have passed since the last update so, just out of curiosity, when approximately could we expect another update? Have you, Volk, already received orders from all players?

I know everything. You can call me Raddeo The All-Seeing. And I have never been against limiting spies. Last time we talked about it, I was against strict numerical limit, like 1 spy per turn, for I am aware that such limits never work correctly. That's another thing math teaches us. It's better to have some fluent limit, like making chance of espionage failure proportional to amount of used spies, which I proposed last time. I also supported applying Late Penaulty to those who edit their orders basing on espionage results. So get your facts straight.

With my formula casualties would never be bigger than 30% (or about 40% with nation and commander bonuses) of enemy army. I these specific battles Britain would loose 1 885 men, Sweden 5 000, Austria 25 026 (in fact this numer would be different, as size of French army was result of two previous battles) and finally Russia would loose 1 900. Also in many cases results of whole battles would be different, as bigger armies would deal much more damage to the enemy (as it should be).

BabyJesus, the fact that one is true, does not mean, that the other is not. Cazasar may indeed have terribly bad luck. But Volk's math may be as bad as Cazasar's luck.

I cannot think of any real battle during Napoleonic Wars, in which casualties of one side would be even remotely close to size of emeny's army. And in our game almost every battle ends with such results. In almost every battle in which size of one army is much bigger than size of the other, bigger army suffers irrational loses.
Battle of Emden, France had 6 500 men, Britain lost 4 350 men.
Battle of Torino, Russia had 20 000 men, Swedes lost 15 000 men.
Battle of Starnberg, France had 58 200, Austrians lost 53 750 men.
Battle of Viipuri, Denmark had 10 000, Russia lost 9 500 men.
Even in historical battle of Auestedt, casualties of Prussia were equal to only 55,5% of French army. Only event I can think of is pursuit after battle of Vauchamps, but if was a result of battle itself, in which loses of coallition were not even close to those which he have in our game.
Current mechanics and math used in this game make totally no sense. Neither historically nor tactically. It's impossible to predict results of any campaign, and even Montenegro could now rule the world after one battle with good rolls. I'm not starting this discussion again, I don't really care anymore, but as this topic was mentioned, I've felt obligated to show some things forth.

None, and none! I don't think any of us really care about some team winning some game somewhere in the world. I can see no reason why our long planned actions should now go vain, just because someone would go full deus ex machina and magically create soldiers out of mud and dust. Either such spawns would make no difference (yay, add 3k men to army of 100k, such change) or would make terrible difference (double size of an army by adding 3k to almost destroyed ensembly and let it fight even if it should be destroyed in next battle). And concerning time for plans - either we claim that limits are there to make game enjoyable for all us and to avoid forcing us to wait too long, or we claim that they're here just because you want them here and we start manipulating it at every occasion. But if the latter is true, then I can see no reason for existance of such limits at all. So I vote against any proposition.

But treaties sheet is on Google, not on FSE. You can update it for sure. Also, I love your habit to ignore half of every message.

Ekhm... in 1804 Carl Adlercreutz was colonel, not a general. Shoudn't Swedish army in Lapland suffer -3 modifier for lack of general?

Also, Volk, you have little error in your treaties sheet. I have trade agreement with Austria, which is not menitoned in your sheet.

Russian Empire
Россійская Имперія

Emperor Alexander is content with hearings about August von Bennigsen's victory over Swedish army. King Gustav IV Adolf surely have had to muster all his strengths to field army as numerous as 60 thousand men, all the more Bennigsen's deeds are imposing indeed. He for sure deserves fame and fortune. Thus Emperor Alexander grants Levis August von Bennigsen Order of St. George of Second Class. He also gives him a victory title of Duke of Lapland so he shall now be known as Levis August von Bennigsen Laplandsky.

Sadly, Tsar could enjoy his victory for short time only, as news of battle of Stockholm Waters arrives soon after those about deeds of Bennigsen. People says, that Emperor cried indeed when this news was told to him. "Alas!" he was to say "Bitter is this message and my heart is broken now. For I have loved him like a son of mine, and now I can taste a fullness of woe that was measured for me by Gustav Adolf and his unholy allies. Bravery of Admiral Senyavin shall not be forgotten as long as Russian Empire lasts!"
Emperor post-mortally promote Rear Admiral Senyavin to full Admiral. Memorial of Admiral Dmitry Senyavin is erected in Moscow, in front of Kazan Cathedral, and in Saint Petersburg, near Saint Andrew's Cathedral. Emperor also swears an oath to raise one more monument, in the city of Stockholm near which Senyavin had fallen. What is more, several ships in Russian fleets are renamed to bear the name of Dmitry Senyavin. Moreover, memorial services takes place in churches all around Russian Empire to pray for the fallen hero and his men.

Grieving deeply over loss of such talented man as Senyavin, Emperor seeks to refill the vacant seat in Admirality of Russian Empire. To achieve this, he promotes promising young captain Berndt Moller to rank of Rear Admiral. This exceedingly well educated man has already proved his worth during service in Caspian Fleet, on the North Sea and in Reval port.

Unfortunatelly, thoughts of Alexander are darkened even more by treacherous actions of Sultan Selim III, whom Alexander have considered a friend and brother. Vicious attack of Barbary States on Russian ships he can see as nothing else but violation of non-agression pact signed between Russian Empire and Ottoman Empire. As Barbary States remain vassals of Ottoman Empire, Sultan Selim is responsible for all of their deeds. For king is he who can rule his own, or else his title is vain. Thus Emperor consider non-agression pact to be undone by the doings of Barbary pirates, though it saddens him deeply. Being also worried by increased taxation of Russian trade, which was rised despite trade agreement and despite promises of Sultan to ease trade between Ottomans and Christian nations, Emperor Alexander sees himself forced to answer in the same way and rises taxes on all trade with Ottoman Empire. Yet, Emperor renounces no friendship to Ottoman Empire. For it may be the part of a friend to rebuke a friend's folly. Thus Emperor demands Sultan Selim to withdraw all his troops from territory of Austrian Empire and lower taxes for Coalition's merchants to their old level. He also expect Sultan Selim to take responsibility for his vassal's actions and pay a compensations for loses suffered by Russian Empire. Only if these conditions are fulfilled can friendship between Russian Empire and realm of Sultan Selim last.

Last, but not least, regretting his own negligence on this field, Emperor Alexander offers trade agreements to Electorate of Saxony and Electorate of Bavaria. He strongly believes that establishing new trade routes in Europe will surely lead to growth of wealth of both Russian Empire and its friends.

So... is this "Late Penalty" in the game, or not? It would be nice to know how many time we have now. Also, if this penalty is valid, then I'd like to ask when we can expect to see secret reports about things not connected with events in the update (movements of troops, rumors from the realm, situation in country, etc). If we have a week only to prepare orders, then even an hour of delay with such reports can matter. We have to discuss many things with players, and for now I don't even know where half of my forces are.
Also finally, what about spies? Any changes, or still we can use as many as we want and receive results of their actions immediatelly?
