I suggest showing them the pointy end of the bayonet. Seems to be a bit more effective

To make this work follow these instructions Steam>SteamApps>Common>Warband>NapoleonicWars>Textures  - and copy and paste in there :)

Personally i'd reccomend making a copy of your textures folder before you do this.
