I just finished this piece for my first: "Thundersnow and Dangerman Drawcast"

I plan on drawing something from each discussion, depending on what grabs me as the most interesting or hilarious.

I haven't done any drawing for a long time but for some reason I decided to pick up some scrap paper and a pencil and started sketching, this is the result:
I don't think the lighting and the fact that I had to upload it via my iPad's camera, has helped really, but going into the loft to scan it wasn't really an option at 3am.

Mine looks so bad in comparison to the rest of yours :P

Well looks like Attack on Titan is on everybody mind now. Nice drawing though. Be even better if you had a scanner and some painting programs(SAI,Manga Studio, or Adobe Photoshop).

I have a scanner, just going into the loft directly above my parent's room at 3am wasn't a good option, I'll scan it and update it later. :P

I have some drawing/artwork software but I never really thought about using it to colour it.

Keep working at it Rabid Donkey!  I've never really been able to nail the 'manga' face so i kind of went my own way.

I have been drawing digitally for so long, I really haven't drawn on paper in forever, except for rough doodles in tiny thumbnails.  So I sat down and cranked this one out.

I sketched him in blue pencil, then went over him with a black pencil.  I then pressed hard on the outlines and any 3-d objects like the overlapping limbs and the gun.  Then I scanned it in, turned it into gray scale to drop the blue lines and adjusted the levels so you could see it better.

There's so much you get with a hand-drawn piece that isn't really possible with a straight digital piece.  I've been seeing this happen a lot with my doodles as well.  I think I'm going to go back to hand-drawn and just scan in at least the rough drafts.

Or get a thousand dollar 'draw directly on the screen' cintiq...  :'(

Well I suppose he is French :P
You might want to use some photo editing software, they're much easier to colour things with, I personally use GIMP because I'm poor.

Photoshop 2 is free now.  (So I've heard)

Did you draw that Camden, or color it?  (I only ask because it's the first time you've posted a picture)

Did you use Photoshop?  I can tell you how to get rid of those white gaps in between the ink and the color if it is.
