I am looking for an NA regiment with an average event attendance of 10+. Please either add me on steam or PM me over the forums.

  • I am NOT looking to join a large regiment that brings 30+ people to events

Good Luck and... are you aware that the ranks of Gunnery Sergeant and PFC were not introduced into the Marine Corps until after the 1900's?

Lots of ranks don't ya think? Good Luck anyway!

You do know a Private First Class is equal to the rank of Lance Corporal? But good Luck

They could have stayed under Commonwealth rule but instead they chose to rebel so not much to it, they choked themselves off.

Agreed, and this was one pro of them being colonies of greater nations. It wasn't all fun in games, but there were pro's to that situation.

True, but our concerns aren't as grave, I mean we have food, we are educated, we have healthcare, we don't randomly get raped and we don't have to resort to cannibalism.

Not sure if you have been to the southern United States, sounds pretty accurate.

No it does not at all.

Florida is in the bottom 5 for healthcare in the US and number 49 in education. But please continue how this does not sound like the south at all.

Signature or header: Signature
Do you have any pictures I could use: http://brushstrokesofthecivilwar.files.wordpress.com/2011/08/round-top-keith-rocco.jpg
Obviously feel free to add an artistic effects if it improves the quality and look of the signature.
Is there any specific color that you want (for the text etc): Whatever you think looks better with the image.
Any font that you like? Something Cursive, but something that anyone can read easily.
Any text that you'd like? 83rd Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry  "Mud Turtles"
Anything else you may want?:Below

Regiments / Re: 11te (1st Silesian) Infantrie-Regiment [NA] **Retired**
« on: September 16, 2014, 07:05:33 pm »
After much thought and consideration I have decided to retire the 11te (1st Silesian). NW is dying a very slow death and it unfortunately is the only game my laptop wants to run almost perfect. It is very sad that it had to be retired as it was my first time actually commanding my own NW regiment and I like to think that we had a good run for a regiment that brought 7-12 people an event. With that being said, it was also very hard for me to actually keep attending events because they simply were getting very dull and extremely boring with very few exceptions. (The lack of full attendance events on certain days that our regiment wanted was also sad..140 guys in the LB..Yay.) It is not fair to my men to keep going on, with barley 2 events a week, therefore I retired the regiment with hopes they can find something more to their taste, a nice balance for them. I look forward to hopefully seeing them all in the 83rd Pennsylvania for Battle Cry of Freedom and I hope to see most of this community go there as well (Some of you can stay though, not going to mention names).

Peace and Long life. - Former Kapitan of the 11te (1st Silesian) Infantrie-Regiment

I love these polls though, keep them going!

I enjoy doing them, It is an interesting way to sample how people think.

I find the UK to be incredibly boring.

For the most part, I can agree with that statement.

Russian regiments are few, but interesting.

U.K. regiments are numerous and I do agree the uniforms are more boring than the rest.

French regiments are fun because ranking systems are highly customisable to the leader's wants and needs.

Austrian regiments fail hard almost every time. Almost. ALMOST.

Prussian regiments are fun, the ranks can be customised to a certain extent and the there is a colorful balance for the ingame uniforms.

Yeah.. Austrian regiments do not live long and prosper.

Added a new poll to the thread, I think this particular poll will gain some attention.
I love how you make a poll about underused factions and even mention non-faction-like nations and don't name Russia.  :P

I can count the russian regiments on my one hand lol. It feels wrong putting them on that list and I am sure you can concure with that.
