Why have OPs been given the power to deleted posts?
« on: October 01, 2015, 08:32:38 pm »
Are the mods so lazy? The power to remove others posts has been given to the OPs, people who in no conceivable way will use it responsibly. Does anyone else see the problem with this?

Regimental and event threads are the hotspot for trolling and inter-regimental fights. By giving OP's the power to remove posts they do not want in their thread, we not only lessen the workload on the moderators but also avoid trolling and provocative posts.

I was wondering why the 91st kept deleting my well constructed posts that ridiculed their leadership and paltry attempt at using a legendary name.
Check out my YT channel where I post NW www.youtube. com/c/CluelessWill
Spoiler
god damn, Anthony is smart, he was able to get the shit AEF to tie with the best reg in the game. The tactical geniusness needed to pull off such a feat is insane. He's the Erwin Rommel of NW.
i always get an erection when i check my subscrptions and see that phresh cluelesswill vid
It won't be FSE developing it, so it will come out!

I think this is terrible because if someone says anything negative in any way even if constructive criticism will be removed to make regiments look better

Well, I honestly don't like it but I don't see how it's a problem though. OPs should have at least some power over what's posted on their thread, and I don't think deleting posts can be that harmful. Sure wish Windflower would stop deleting my memes tho.

I don't see an issue with it so long as warnings and whatnot are still followed up by moderators if necessary.
I won lots of things, I came 2nd and 3rd in lots of things, I guess I did some other shit too........ I'm also an FSE legend, probably most commonly described as a cunt. If the shit I do doesn't make sense in your head, well fuck you because it makes sense in mine.

Which i did, against known and reputed player, some of them considered legend, such as, Mandarin, Ledger, Tiberias, Herishey, Hokej, Troister, Axiom, Evanovic, Stark, Eddie, Jammo, Bagins, Freddie, Python. I didn't had a good relationship with most of them, but i congratulate them for what they did, and i had pleasure facing them.

Don't really like it. Allows certain thread to be, "sugarcoated."

Don't really like it. Allows certain thread to be, "sugarcoated."

But if that's up to the owner of the thread, then who's to say what that person can and cannot do?

It gives someone (or a group if you have a regimental account) the ability to be good stewards with their thread, and showcase what items they wish to, and what they don't.

The 91st thread shows why it's a bad idea

I don't see why it's such a big problem, forum members that are outside of said regiment doesn't really have any business on their thread to begin with.
