Hey Conway, this is a pretty cool server. I really like the concept, but it seems pretty hard to enforce. I have a few suggestions and ideas, if you'd like.
To fix the issue of prisoners running away from the start, you could make them spawn inside the cells from the start. That would create another problem though, prisoners spawning with the wrong class / good weapons. This issue, and the others (like rioting early) could be prevented by creating scripts similarly to those we have on the FH Zombies server. The only issue that wouldn't be fixable this way is guards killing prisoners randomly. If you're interested, i'd be willing to give it a shot.
Another thing that would be nice, is have a more than one single building with cells in the prison. This way guards and prisoners won't all be cramped together, and would feel more like a real prison.

Why you want to be admin: It is very simple, because I really enjoy playing on your JB server, but the pleasure is being destroyed by people who do not follow the rules (randoming, obeying the rules with purpose etc.). I would love to play in a good atmosphere always, and I would like the same for other people, and this is why I want to become an admin. I am very patient and calm guy. I am not 12-14-16 and even 20 years old, I am little older, I respect other people. I love when every single person is having fun and I would like to provide this. Fun because there will be no breaking rules.

I would take Papersalad up on his offer. He did a lot of things that I didn't think were possible on our zombie server. Paper was able to make the zombies its own game mode and completely run itself server side. Admins only have to kick the occasional troll, as with any server.

Those are some very helpful scripts that would save alot of trouble and confusion for all the new players.
Just did it. Or at least I think I did. It's rather hard to test by yourself. Here are the file you need to replace.

That's pretty much it, I think. Be sure to back up the files, and restart after you change the files so you see the effects on the server. As I said, it's pretty hard to test that ratio thing without a populated server, so it might not be good as it is. Just pm me, and I'll fix it.
Also, guards have to be on team 1 for it to work properly, but that's how it was on the server earlier, so it shouldn't be an issue.

You can sheathe weapons with the < key, next to the enter key. I'll add other weapons though when I have the time, like the fork and the tree trunk.

The doors can only be opened by guards, The problem is that most times prisoners break down doors before 56:00.

I noticed that he is the only admin who is mass-slaying everyone for early riots. And we haven;t played 7 rounds in a row cause mass-slay... This is sad... :(

Dunno if his admin status has been revoked or not, the only thing i know is i have been perma banned for a reason that was not enough. In this file there is a list of all IDs which are banned, followed by a # and then the rest of the message. For example:
123 # MrTiki is banned permanently by MrTiki.
You can search through the file for IDs or names and put a # in front of the number to keep them on file but unbanned.
You do need FTP access to your server to be able to do this, but any provider worth his salt will provide that access (including myself).

Wanted to go on here to see all the nice things that are being said about it to find out that is is one of the most poorly run servers I have ever seen. People just running around teamkilling, guards just walking outside shooting/stabbing all the prisoners.
Also, that Jobius guy applying for admin was in the server at the same as me, and was breaking all these rules.

Why do admins refuse to do anything about the voicechat spammers? Currently they are no less then 5 female officers shouting BEREITMACHEN in a continious loop, and the admins, JackSpears and BLOCK REFUSE to do ANYTHING about it.Hehehehe, that's one of the best part about NW.

People running around teamkilling, guards just walking outside shooting/stabbing all the prisoners all result in a temp ban when I am admining.
I am going to repeat what I said in my last post to someone, don't judge the admin team with little knowledge and experience of the admins and the server. I try my hardest to run this often over 100 player server and so do the other admins and through our hard work we often see results. I have been on many occasions where the players have been perfect due to me enforcing bans. Perfect team balance, no randoming, no running, no teamkilling.
So clearly this "most poorly run server you have ever seen"is not that poorly run if it is able to control this many people in this many aspects with usually around 1 admin on at a time.
Still disbelieve it is well run, why not come and try to admin for yourself?

Why you want to be admin:Well as I go into the server I see many of the guards RDMing and then on top of that people constantly clog up the guards team, which many people get upset over because it causes delays in the game since the admins need to balance every other round. I plan to help stop this and make sure the server is kept clean and organized so that the player base can have a fun time.

Admin History: I have recently admined on another Napoleonic Wars Role-play server, (not jail break), but very similar rules.
For ex: Revolt time was 57:00 for us, (56:00) for you, I had to deal with rdmers, trolls, early revolt (or riot what you guys call it) etc. I kinda like the jail break idea even better then the original rp idea.
On the roleplay server, British were "officers" and partizani were "villagers". The map would be on any town/ village (normally slov. village). Officers would patrol the town, and partizani could revolt at 57;00. Of course, other admins and I would be the ones looking out for those rdms, tks, early revolts, etc. I am very familiar with the admin panel from the rp server, (kick, slay, ban, etc). Hopefully this is enough experience! ;)
Obviously I will have some adjusting to do, but I would love to become one!
Why I want to become one: The previous rp server I admined on has sadly, changed regiments (now I cannot admin there). They said the only reason I cant admin there anymore is because they changed regiments. ;/. I really loved it and so did other people. I have seen many of these problems, (rdming mostly) on the server, preventing the full experience to players. So, I want to help the players get the full, fun experience on the server. I respect the other admins, but I want to offer help to them on the server and be part of the team. I lust for the same experience I had on the RP server. I hope I can do this well, and make the players have the best experience they can have, as possible.

Why should you be an admin: I think the effort you guys put into the sever should really not be poured down the drain. I am here to keep the server fair and clean so that everyone can enjoy the game. I find that I am a loyal person that has a straight head to use when it comes to sorting things out; something necessary for any good admin. I find that the server sometimes goes without an admin for periods of time - resulting in an onslaught of unruliness and chaos. I, as an admin, would be able to keep the server fun and also organised. In general life, I am a team player: I enjoy working with others to deliver satisfaction to whom so ever wants it(!). This is another skill I can transfer straight into admining your server.

Then I became admin on a server called Zombies_Games (Which closed down and according to the owner, MIGHT be coming back up.) Then and still currently I am admin on the 12e_offical server. Then I became admin on a server called DayZ (It got shutdown due to money issues.)

I banned you (also Issa was abusing by making a rule for 1 round she said it was a city round.) But an admin told you to stop talking bad about an admin. And you did not, that is why I banned you. Also your ban should be over in 30 more minutes. I only tempbanned you for 1 hour, (Also I only saw Issa freeze everyone a couple of times to check to see if people where running and they where, so I wouldn't count that as abuse..)
Also by the time a head admin replies you should be unbanned. Just so you know I did not see her slay for RDM randomly after the time.

IMPORTANT ANNOUCEMENT!!!!!!Although for most reasons my server will seldom be used for Jail Break again after tonight's testing it is likely that it will be succeeded by the new game mode I've created called spleef! Basically everyone is sapper on a platform made up of windows on their sides. You need to use your spade to break the glass beneath their feet making fall to their deaths! I feel this with a bit of work can be a fun game mode. Although it may never reach the height that it did when Jail Break was around I feel it will be just as fun and enjoyable, when more information concerning this new game mode is available I will post it.

Right erm...turns out that the map is a bit off because if you break the glass a certain way on the spawn layer you go flying 1000 feet and die horribly so....yeIf you are standing on a window, and break it, then you teleport to the bottom of the terrain mesh and die horribly :(

Why you want to be admin:Many times when i play on the Jailbreack server there are no admin or there is only one who has trouble running the server,too many people break the rules,rdm,tk and spam.Since i can be on most of the day there will be always an admin on the server to run stuff.I have experience in running a server and being an admin so i will be able to handle rule-breaking players,spammers,rdm .etc If i become an admin i will try to keep order in the server and be fair to all players.

Why banned: Unknown, I was repeatably kicked by Admin Princess_Ugly_Face. For again Unknown reasons (reference pictures:) (https://i.imgur.com/YLXHnTf.jpg)The part about me "RDMing and killing prisoners" had no proof to support his claims, and we where fighting on a unscripted map, with both nations able to do damage and having rifles, so we killed each other.
When killing Prisoners on the scripted map earlier (both times had no admins to support or deny these claims), I shot prisoners who ran away, hid early, or had weapons showing out. How is that RDM? I was repeatedly insulted, and kicked before I had a chance to state my point of view then banned.

Why do I optate to be an admin? Let me tell you marginally about myself afore I tell, just for context. I'm 36 years old, and I emanate from South Africa. I can verbalize English and Afrikaans fluently so don't worry about it. I was born in 1980, and I lived in the time of Apartheid. It was horrible, me, myself, my so-called "race" was treated as an inferior, property, like we were crap. My brother died in a riot when I was 6. He was only 14 then. I feel that telling you or whoever is reading will avail for them to understand me and what type of person I am, incase you are wondering.
Back to it, I lived in an Apartheidic Society, a minute town off Johannesburg. Prejudice, Racism, everything that was morally and unethically unacceptable in the Western Civilization of that time, and which should be, was transpiring. Interracial marriages were ostracized, we were treated inequitably, by either the police, as they surmised us to be the first to do erroneous, to be the perpetrators/instigators never to be the victims , or being heckled and abused when ambulating down streets minding our own business. Growing up there, I've always been fascinated and horrified with how society can treat us. As I delved deeper into the philosophy and ways of the people, I deciphered what I wanted to be. A philosopher, i was 14 then. I wanted to achive my dreams, I wanted to do something, to commence a family outside of all this. Note yet, Nelson Mandela was elected in that year, however I didn't believe even he could make enough of an impact ( I couldn't look into the future). By 1999, I was around 19-20, I took jobs as construction workers, washed dishes, even became a chauffeur to affluent men and women. Nelson Mandela was gradually but surely breaking down pre established gregarious boundaries and licit ones. I had enough money to escape to America. I joined to a military University/college school, the Uniteds States Naval Academy and studied there for 4 years. By the 5th one, I claimed an American Citizenship, but with the requisite I enlisted4 years. I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Philosophy and Moral Ethnics. I was enlisted, or I had to be enlisted, to the 54th Infantry Division, of around 4000 men. I served 4 years for the States, however I do not want to talk about it was it was an incredibly dark time, losing virtually all of my battalion. I came back, and got a job, not as a Philosopher, but as a Political adviser to Mayors/Senators. I've had that job ever since, being able to convert my erudition of society, how it ticks, what makes it go erroneous. In my spare time, I write books, I'm still on my first one about Apartheid and Prejudice.
Now you know my life story, you can optically discern I am inclined to work hard, I don't optate anything but a chance. This server is something special, its the only one I'm able to resonate with on a deep level. Its' not superficial or artificial even though its a game. The community is something, certainly and I've always revered how the admins worked in Unison and I just want to be a component of that. I can handle the responsibility, I've had military experience with that, I love this server but I don't talk a lot, I am a quiet person and now I'm done with that. I am intelligent , though not enough to be able to sound humble while saying it. I relish life and will definitely relish my time here if I am opted for. I understand rules, and I will enforce them, this server has so much potential, I feel it would be a malefaction to not make an endeavor to apply.
