History

History
The Line Battle Group was formed in early 2019 following the reformation of the former 22nd (Cheshire) Regiment.  During this period, Coldstreamer became bored, and was joined by friends to reform the regiment and immediately gained 17 members within 2 weeks.  Many older members from 2-3 years ago re-joined, and the group's first event was on 2 December.  In 2020, after many setbacks the group came together as the Régiment du Roi and continues to be active today!  Abbreviated regimental history to be added (I'm making the wikipedia page on the real regiment atm).  On 24 November 2020, the Régiment du Roi became the 3rd Regiment of Foot Guards (Scots) by popular vote..  Following another popular vote on 6 June 2021, the regiment name was reverted to the old Régiment du Roi.  Following very successful recruiting, the regiment is now back at full strength, with many older members re-joining!

After the release of Battle Cry of Freedom, the regiment transitioned to become the 9th New York Volunteer Infantry Regiment (Hawkins' Zouaves).  However, in May following the release of the Age of Napoleon mod, the regiment transitioned once again, becoming the current 1èr Régiment Suisse.

In our regiment, we focus on having fun (of course within server/event rules), instead of the boring strict nonsense of some regiments *cough 92nd and 65y*.

You can wear swiss or whatver but 1erGren/Garde/Chas/1er is off the table big boy.

Same rules as before if the name is taken pick another.

1erArt and VE_GRE are both 1er but don't use our tags you did the exact opposite of what is acceptable.

I'm busy updating the page, we went on a hiatus as our 2iC Jack unfortunately succumb to his brain cancer and passed away, so we took it hard. Will updating page now.
