Once again Im giving out my unqualified EU opinion but I'm kinda still surprised Leatherwood went 17th over all? (I've obv only seen experts opinions and the College Championship Game if at all when I rarely watch College Football ... but)
Any thoughts? Seen people saying its the worst pick of the draft in terms of value

like them taking josh jacobs hella early and ruggs before ceedee lamb, jerry jeudy and justin jefferson last year
iirc they took a DE in the top 5 that most had valued around a 2nd rounder, and he ended up being terrible
Yeah Mayock seems to like the Clemson, Alabama, Ohio State guys a lot more than any other schools. When the Raiders have a favorite guy they’re gonna go out and get him, which I respect, but ultimately it is yet to be seen how it will work out.
Leatherwood is a good prospect tho. Going into this season he was a first round prospect and people thought he could be an early second rounder or sneak into the late first for most of the college season. He kinda got overshadowed by the other tackles in this class, but Mayock liked him and took his guy.
