I am really proud to have been able to host this tournament. To have brought what I could to the community, some hype and above all a competition that we only had old memories of. I would have liked to start it with someone else but events made me host this tournament alone. I was very apprehensive about that. I don't hide the moments of stress when I had to deal with minor and stupid drama. Fortunately, I was able to count on friends and contacts who kept my head above water and helped me move forward. I would like to thank each and every one of them.

First of all, of course, I would like to thank all the people who helped me to design this tournament. I think of course of Lindblom who provided me with the servers. I also think of dear Soartex who helped me with his mapping skills and several times. I also want to thank Saphyro and Tival who helped me to correct some little mistakes in English (I might make a lot of them here, sorry). A big thank you also to Erik on whom I had the opportunity to rely a lot and who supported me. In addition to offering me sublime images to illustrate the rosters, he was present as a wise adviser. Of course, I would also like to thank Remao and Bedoyère, who were also present during the difficult moments. I would also like to thank Wüstenkrieger for his script. thanks to Lightning and the anonymous donor for the cash prize.

The games of the first weeks could not be counted. I apologize for that. The statistics were recorded from the second week onwards.

I absolutely love Wüstenkrieger scripts but for some reasons, I was never a huge fan of the way the stats were displayed. I must admit however that seeing them being used for a completed tournament (even with the first week missing) is quite something, especially for a community where we never had any form of proper statistics recorded (or very rarely). Makes for a nice change and I hope we can use that for the Hussar Cup as well.

Thanks for the tournament DragonKing, and everyone else involved in the making of the SCN. Luckily, you were able to acknowledge some of the flaws in the format and change them in time but I think the tournament still suffered from a lack of proper hype, at least from an outside perspective. It's clearly obvious, however, that a lot of people who played enjoyed it and we had quite a few very close match, which is always good for competition.
