♞ [SNC-2020] Annoucement Thread

Welcome to the Official Thread of the Six Nations Championship. I hope you enjoyed the trailer and that it's made you wish to participate in this great up and coming competition. The main aim is to entertain the community but also to offer them a competition that has not been seen for three years. On this thread, I will answer the questions I am most often asked and don't hesitate to ask questions directly on the thread yourself.

It is now almost 3 years since the last Cavalry Nations Cup took place. Spain won it with its Spanish lancers and since then nothing more. It's been as long as I've wanted to play this competition again. I waited 2 years with the idea of creating this competition, Now that I have the time, I've taken the plunge. The Six Nations Championship wants to revive this tradition and allow members of the same nation to unite to win the cup. I also want this tournament to be a symbol of unity, may old disputes be forgotten for a few games and may we all be very happy to play in this competition. A tournament  similar to the excellent Cavalry Nations Cup hosted by Erik but with new rules, new maps and above all, a lot of new players. Another competition because as in the case of the CNWL, the CNC can only be associated with Erik or to a person designated by him.

Edit: Are you gonna allow several teams (and class) per nation (like it was the case for the last NWWC & ENWC in infantry) or limit it to one team per nation (the traditional approach)?

I'm going to keep the traditional aspect of the thing. That is to say one team per nation composed of between 12 and 24 players.

I can completely understand that approach. I thought it would be difficult to decide for certain nations, as I imagine France could easily field a cuirassier and a hussar team but I am not really up to date with the current scene so I reckon more experienced and knowledgable people will be able to figure out the best outcome for every potentiality, assuming there is even the need for it.

Once more, a warm best of luck with the event. I know you surrounded yourself with trustworthy, serious and respectable members of the cavalry community and I have no doubt the event can be thoroughly enjoyable if everything goes to plan.
