Definitely. He will get better, and every year OK will be a contender in the big 12. They just need to do something about their defense. Every year it is sad. Big 12 in general has that problem.(one of the main reasons i think their chances of wining a national championship will be small) The odds of ISU ever winning a Big 12 champ are very slim but i am happy they no longer auto wins vs the top teams. Much like Iowa in the big 10. They just need to keep winning these big games to improve recruitment.
On a side note, every game i watched today was horrible in terms of discipline. Part of me wants to blame covid but yikes. 26? penalties in the texas vs TCU game was bad. ISU game had lots of bad ones. The refs seemed a little slow as well in making their calls. I agree covid has made the games a bit more awkward to watch. I am sure for many it is awkward to play in.
