^ I know it'd probably be better as Dimir (black+blue) but I like the options red gives. Previously was considering Skysovereign, Combustible Gearhulk, and The Scarab God but they're probably too costly for how good they'd be. Might add TSG if I swap to Dimir though (and if it'd work well, if the price drops, etc.), but I'd rather draw a Sailor of Means to play for free off of Yahenni's Expertise than a Scarab God that can pay, what, 4-5 mana to get back a 4/4 Sailor of Means, which is super slow. I was considering him because of Captain Lannery Storm anyway since a 4/4 with Haste that make treasures and can sac them for burst damage is neat, but too unreliable. Nicol Bolas, God-Pharaoh is only in because he's swole, and Saheeli Rai is in because she's quick to get out and helps you Scry and get those precious chip damages in (5 treasures is surprisingly more difficult to get than 4 with the current iteration of the deck). Will probably build if it's somewhat competitive, heard something similar did well against Energy decks and Ramunap in a specific instance, which is great since those decks seem boring to me.
EDH/Commander decks I want to build:
- Some janky 5 color shit - I already have a City of Brass and a Chromatic Lantern so it'll eventually happen
- Izzet Niv-Mizzet Infinite Combos - Firemind + Curiosity or Ophidian Eye insta-wins, but works with Locust God; wizard and cycling subtheme
