The reason there are so many injuries is that players are stepping on each other feet rather than playing more basketball. Shorting the season or playoffs won't change players' luck from getting injured.

Lol it’s cause of the shortened break between seasons due to covid. Injuries happen. Teams have 15 roster spots for a reason. They added more roster spots (I think 18 if I remember correctly) this season for a reason. This season was also shorter for the Olympics.
