Bol Bol dropping all the way to the #44th pick. That is ridiculous honestly. So many shitty centers were picked over him and he was projected to be a top 15 lotto pick!!!! I am also shocked the Pels picked that random Brazilian guy Silva. The guy wasn't even on most draft boards, they should of stolen Bol Bol with the pick.

Regardless ill be a Pelicans fan next season with my boy Lonzo throwing lobs to Zion. I cant wait! Also like the look of the Knicks now but they really need someone big in free agency.

Lol yea this wasn’t some bold prediction, it was just that a couple hours before nba insiders confirmed the top 3 picks (like they do every year).

The reason Bol Bol fell is partly because of his foot injury. Big men and foot injuries never mix well together. Also he is like a feather compared to NBA bigs. Even in college he would get backed down and tossed around by backup centers AT THE COLLEGE LEVEL. He also gave up positioning under the basket because he wasn’t strong enough to keep his man out of the paint. NBA big men will abuse him down low. He also shows little effort with rebounding and at his height you HAVE to box out and try to rebound on every possession. His potential is crazy tho. Once he bulks up a bit and gets healthy and can hold his own vs stronger opponents he will be a great piece especially for a contender like the Nuggets.

Also the Brazilian the Pels drafted will probably be a draft n stash. He’s a decently athletic guard that can shoot really well. Good potential. Just probably could’ve traded back and gotten him later.

Hawks and Pelicans won the draft tho. Also Detroit got a huge steal with Doumbouya falling to 15. The guy is a legit player and can develop into what Pascal Siakam was for the Raptors.
