Rule Set 2 for 1.0 update for N&S Tight Formation
New rules set we are going to be doing for 1.0. As there are a few new maps which will be prefect for this type of rule set. we will still be using our normal rules for the regular Lb's so don't worry we are just adding another one.
Line. Need to move out as a row until engaged in combat or close enough to the combat area then reform into a row to engaged all this in tight formation shoulder to shoulder. When using cover line regiment must stand at all times. When charging against an enemy line fire in the charge is allowed only charge when necessary and you close enough to the enemy lines. Line regiments must have 1 officer and a flag bearer.
Cavalry. As cav you can act as shock infantry dismount in a key position area acting out as quick light infantry until reinforcements arrive. They also can fire from horse back yes that right FoH
Cav may charge at any thing on the field. A regiment must have one officer, one flag bearer and one bugler.
Sharpshooter. Can move around in skirmish order around the map with a max 3 man spacing. Can take cover and crouch behind fences and trees. Only one division will be able to field one regiment of sharpshooters may need to take it in turns with the other regiment. Officers should go as the US battalion officers if on Union.
