Me:

This is just a little thread for GW2 as I don't think there already is one, on GW2 I am known as TheTrueSpike and I originally was on the Fissure of Woe server but have also been on Aurora Glade for some time, Ruins of Surmia and Blacktide (the one I am on now).

SpoT was my first guild that I lead and it had around 400 members until I disbanded it and moved servers to Aurora Glade where we made a new guild aVFo that was more "elitist" and had about 50 members. I then moved server again back to Fissure of Woe and made a guild called SoW that was WvW orientated and was quite successful. I then moved to Ruins of Surmia where I joined a lovely small WvW guild called Flamma Algora (FA I think was the tag). Lastly I moved back to FoW and joined a guild called KYSA which is where I have remained although we recently moved server to Blacktide.

This is essentially a channel where we mess about on the Guild Wars 2 WvW. As cows.

I just wondered who else played GW2/what server and whatnot.

Competitive EU Events/Tournaments / [FG]Sword Duel Tournament [7th of June]

This duel league is hosted for EU players only (unless there are spare slots). The contestants will have to fight through multiple rounds in order to make it to the finals and become victorious. Good luck and fight well! We will start with 32 slots and if a greater interest is shown then slots will be increased to 64. (The date will be the 7th of June.)

1. Be respectful during or after fights!
2. Officers only! No cavalry or rankers.
3. Melee speed will be set to "Medium".
4. The first duels will be first to 3 but the semi-finals and finals will be first to 5.
5. There will be 32 or 64 players.
6. The player who remains undefeated will win the tournament.
7. All fights will be done on one day.
8. The server will be given out on the day.
9. After having fought your opponents go straight to spectator unless told otherwise.
10. If anyone breaks any rules you will first be warned and then if you do it again you will most likely be banned.

What is Mercenaries?:

Mercenaries is a multiplayer modification for Mount & Blade: Warband. It allows you to create your own unique character with its own persistent characteristics and inventory. Just register and go the merchant/character tabs to create your character and get him gear.

In Mercenaries, there is a wide choice of rather useful weapon types. Even a dagger may be very effective if you know when it's a good time to use it. Also, there is no unfair levelling system. Everyone is on equal footing with stats and get the same amount of skill points. Get gold or die trying!

Hello everyone I just wondered who else played Mercenaries. I know some people from 17e player (Posh, Mike, Eddie, SilentPain, fatkoala, etc) and I know a few other guys like Jelly, Rupert and Specimen but who else plays from NW?

About:

This is Megamens Mercenaries clan and the clan I am a part of. Knights of the Crusade is one of the largest Mercenaries clans and also one of the most skilled. We do 1-4 CW's (Clanwars) a month and usually win them.

At the time Napoleon reigned over France and amongst his legions were the 19e Infantrie Regiment was one of the oldest regiments of the French army, the regiment of Flanders regiment then Saulx whom it was said "Beware of fire, water and Saulx regiment." He became "invincible 19th demi-brigade" and "19th Infantry Regiment of the line." Indeed, the regiment has not always had the same name, it's more than a dozen names he knew in less than 300 years.

Events: EU / 17e Monthly Siege Event

Information The 17e Monthly Siege Event has been created by the 17e Regiment d'infantrie de Ligne to create a new experience of siege events. With a past of many well hosted events including the 17e Sunday Linebattle and multiple tournaments as well as myself (Herishey) used to be hosting the 3rdFG Linebattles we aim to create a new experiance. Our goal is to make this the most professional and skilled siege event ever hosted in this community with a few new ideas. We will achieve this by well performed organization, excellent servers (We hope) and exceeding adminship, we will also be introducing 3 maps to start with where a poll will be held to decide which map will be used each month (One new map being added each month). This is a European Siege Event. All events will be held on a German server which should provide decent pings for the whole of the EU player base (200 slots). We will  keep it up to about 140-160 people on the server. These events will be hosted monthly usually on the last Wednesday or possibly Saturday of every month. The same thread will be used every month for this event. In this event the classes to be played are Line or Arty. Also I do not think we will be accepting regulars but some exceptions may be made. 17e Monthly Siege Event: Wednesday April 30th, 2014 (7 GMT) Details will be messaged to each regiment leader on the day of the event.

Servers / FG_Groupfighting

Introduction

FG_Groupfighting is a new Groupfighting server, though there are many others similar we aim to be the best. One of the most important things for this server in our opinion is the admin team, so we have carefully selected our admin team by firstly reading through their applications as normal and then if we decide they are worthy of a shot we put them on a trial period for a few weeks to see whether we will keep them or not, this lowers the amount of inactive or useless admins as we are able to quickly tell if they are of use to the server. We also have a set of 8-14 unique maps that are only used on this server ranging from Snowy passes to Mountain towns. Also on the server we have scripts that will minimalize trolling. The first one is a script that stops players being able to shoot each other (This is to make intentional team killing or rule-breaking harder.). The next script makes it so that if a player who is not a registered admin logs in to the server with the admin pass it will automatically ban them which will stop anything along the lines of the 33rd Siege incident where a few trolls got the admin pass and banned everyone. The last custom script we have makes it so you can only go Line Infantry which should also help stop intentional trolling. In order to track your progress on the server we have a website where you can track your stats such as kills, deaths, team kills and your KD, this gives the more competitive players reason to play so that they can fight their way to the top of the leaderboard. The Foot Guards is/was a melee clan made by Herishey and 17e Eddie which was rather successful at its peak, but it is mostly inactive now.

Rate the Person Above you

Basically like the how good is the person at melee above you thread, but you can rate it on how cool they are (Cool is a very broad word, the rating can be on their personality, skills, swag, leadership etc.)

E.G if Zzed was above me I would say;

"Coolest NA player so handsome 10/10" - note the word cool does not have to be used, or even a sentence you could just leave a rating.

Please is you get a bad rating do not take it personally and cry. Don't event get mad or if you do take it to Steam, if you post on this thread you must be prepared to get love and/or hate.

Napoleon impressed by the regiments actions on the battlefield said: "The Terrible 57th which nothing can stop." The words were then added to their flag, yet the Directory ordered such inscriptions removed. But still the regiment was known among the French army as "les Terribles" due to their fierce stance on the battlefield. Regiments / 3. Regiment-Garde zu Fuß [EU]

Who we are The 3rd Foot Guards were an infantry regiment of the Royal Prussian Army. The regiment was formed in 1860. As part of the Guards Corps it fought in the Second Schleswig War, the Austro-Prussian war, the Franco-Prussian war and World War I. Many famous and future Generals/Field Marshals would serve and rise through the ranks in the Regiment, including von Manstein and von Hindenburg. The regiment was disbanded in 1919 with the Infantry Regiment 9 Potsdam bearing its tradition.

Competitive EU Events/Tournaments / [FG]Duel League [Winners announced]

This duel league is hosted for EU players only. The contestants will have to fight each player in their league. A win for the player will be 3 points to the winner, a loss 0 and a tie 1 for each player, the person with the most points after all their fights will be crowned champion and victor. Good luck and fight well!

1. Be respectful! Even if you may have been insulted leave the punishments to the organizers. Sent them evidence in form of screenshots or videos. They will then decide how to punish the offenders.
2. Line infantry only! No guards, sailors, officers or any other type of unit that differs from standard line infantry.
3. Melee speed has to be on "Medium"
4. The duels will be best of 10 and all 10 duels have to be played!
5. Win = 3 points, Tie = 1 point, Loss = 0 Points
6. A maximum of 25 players per league will be allowed into the tournament at first and possibly later expanded.
7. There will be three(?) leagues of 30 players each.
8. Each contestant has to face each other opponent in his league once!
9. The player who accumulates the most points in his leagues wins his league. If he is in League 1 he will be crowned "Europe Champion of the Season", the winner of League 2, the runner up and the third will automatically be given slots in the first league and those who came in last, second to last and third to last in the first league will be moved down into the second league. The player who came in fourth in the second league and the player who came in fourth last in the first league will then have a relegation match for who receives the slot in the first league. This duel will be fought with the same rules as all others. The winner will receive the last free slot in League 1 the loser will be put into League 2 or League 3 depending.
10. The deadline by which the players must have completed all their duel is the 3rd of May. If they fail to do so the matches not played will be counted as a loss for both players. If evidence shows that one opponent was trying to arrange a duel and the other simply did not show up or declined any organization of a duel, the player trying will be awarded the win.
11. Duels can be played in any server as long as both opponents agree on the server and the server is set on "Medium". If they cannot find a server the 3rdFG Server will be used to duel. The password will be given to you by the organizers.
12. After having dueled the opponents have to take a screenshot of the score and send it to the organizers. If no evidence is brought forward then it will be counted as a loss for both players. There are no referees so it is up to you to take screenshots and make sure that your score is properly brought to the organizers.
13. If anyone tries to falsify scores or break rules in any other way, the organizers will decide on how to punish them which can range from a warning to a kick from the tournament.
14. You organize the dates and times of your duels yourself within the given time!

This line battle will focus on the clashes of Line infantry and Cavalry and will be hosted on a weekly bases at 7pm (GMT). We aim to give a balanced and fun fight to everyone which makes for a good line battle. We aim to keep numbers between 140-180 so that the server does not lag too much whilst giving a large-scale battle.

The battles will take place on Custom maps sometimes and random maps on others but we will try to keep maps flat and to ensure that the event is not biased to one side.

The minimum attendance requirement for line infantry is 15 and for cavalry is 12 to allow for small regiments not to be overwhelmed by larger numbered regiments .(Some exceptions will be made)

- Fire in charge is not allowed.
- Officer aiming is not allowed not even in charges. If you do happen to shoot an Officer accidentally apologize in all chat.
- No ramboing, if last alive then find another line and do not attack any enemies.
- If 4 or less (Infantry and Cavalry) then find another line to join up with.
- Keep Global chat clean and to a minimum, people who Spam global chat will be kicked from the server.
- No crouching in line.

If rules are broken several times, then the regiment will not be allowed back into the event.

Okay I am looking for someone to make two medals for 3rdFG's thread;

A service type medal for being in the regiment 6 months or so and a Expert Melee medal which is pretty self explanatory. I need them in 16x16 for TS as well as larger for the thread here is a link to our thread:3rdFG Thread, you will see the medal section at the bottem, so whatever size you think would fit well is good. I can easily resize them anyway probably.
