55th Illinois Volunteer regiment

The 55th Illinois Volunteer Regiment was originally founded on the 7th of December, 2015 on the mod for Mount and Blade: Warband, North and South: First Manassas. From there we have expanded in Napoleonic Wars and War of Rights and look forward to continuing the regiment in Battle Cry of Freedom. The regiment is also a proud member of the Irish Brigade under the command of Brigadier General Noble

Events / 11th North Carolina Volunteer Infantry [NA]

The 11th NC Infantry was organized near Raleigh at Camp Mangum in March, 1862. During the battle of Gettysburg, the regiment lost over half of its ranks (617).
The Officers were: Colonel Collett Leventhorpe, Colonel William J. Martin, Lieutenant Colonel Francis W. Bird, William A. Owens and Major Egbert A. Ross. (Field Officers)

 I am Chase Futrell, the Colonel of the 55thIL. I am in the Douglas Brigade. Here is a short history of the 55thIL. The 55th Illinois Infantry was organized at Camp Douglas, Chicago, Illinois and mustered into Federal service on October 31, 1861. Training continued at Benton Barracks, Missouri. The 55th was part of Sherman's Yazoo Expedition. If you would like to join the 55thILL, add chasefutrell on steam!
