I have made a ton of headers now and pictures for threads but on google I always find the same images every single time and I want to find some new stuff. I'm actually interested in buying books from stores or lending books from the libraries. I know the Osprey books have some good images of Napoleonic Infantry. Do you guys know any other great books with tons of high quality images of the Napoleonic soldiers as well as American Civil War?

Everytime I want to post something new I have to click sometimes 8 times before the message gets posted because it gives 5-7 times an error. When I want to change my avatar another error occurs every single time. I have tried to delete my cache numerous of times but it doesn't seem to help. Does anyone else have these problems or know a fix for this?

This is one of the errors I get when posting something on a thread.

Hello

I would like to add more smoke to my Napoleonic Wars. I already use a smoke mod for more realistic textures and durability. But I would like to have more smoke coming out of the musket.  I just don't know which value to edit. This is how my current smoke section looks like:

Off Topic / Musket sounds help

Does anyone know on which websites you can find some realistic musket sounds or at least a little more realistic than what is in the game currently. I know there are some musket sounds out there but I'm kinda curious if there are actually websites where you can find a lot of them. I'm an audiophile person and I'm trying to make NW as realistic-sounding as possible as it is as important to me as graphics.

Released Modifications / Hit/kill shot sound effect

Hello

I made a new mini sound effect mod. I grew tired of the boring 'thud" when you shot someone far away. It was too silent for me because when you are in Teamspeak in a linebattle you hear a lot of noises and it's difficult to be sure sometimes if you hit someone or not (when you don't get the kill that is). So that's why I made a new "Thud" sound effect. Makes your game feel a bit more "FPS" like. Here is a video from the sound I have used. Credits go to the original owners/creators.



Installation:

Put the sound file in the sounds folder. Be sure to read the "readme" file.

I have also not made it too loud so it fits right in with all the other sounds.

So I've seen quite some videos on YouTube with these huge graphics mods aswell as those dozen of real life cars and appearance of other characters. Does anyone have any experience in modding GTA 5? Could someone help me in the right directions on how to install these etc?

Other Games / Napoleon Total War: My personal Tweaks/mods

Hello

Since some time ago, I installed the pack file manager and it opened some new ways for me to play around with the files. In this post, I will add some download
links to some personal tweaks I have made which makes the game a bit more enjoyable, at least I do think. I just thought I would share
this with any other person who still likes to play NTW from time to time.
Important note: These tweaks will probably not work with any overhaul mod like Darthmod, NTW3, etc. This is purely made for vanilla.

What are these tweaks?

First of all, unit sizes. I have made the unit sizes a little bit bigger. This will result in a bit bigger battles.

Unit sizes on Ultra:

- Infantry: 360
- Grenadiers: 360
- Elite Units: 360
- Skirmishers: 240
- Light Infantry: 240
- Cavalry: 160
- Artillery: 10 canons - 60 men (includes every artillery type, rockets, mortars, howitzers, etc...)

Another tweak I am working on includes the pounder canons to fire like howitzers. When you placed them in vanilla NTW behind your infantry,
they just fire straight into the back of your infantry instead of above them. This is still a work in progress.

Thirdly, I am looking for a way to increase the number of units you can command (unit cards). For example in Shogun 2, you can have a lot
more units in custom battles than in NTW. This is also a work in progress.

Fourthly, I have deleted the morale. This means units will just fight until there is no one alive anymore.

For the last tweak, I have edited the number of musket ammunition. This means that any unit with a musket will not lose any ammo.
It really frustrated me when they just ran out of ammo so quickly.

I'll post the download link here whenever they are ready.

Off Topic / Steam logged out after restarting PC - Can't get back in

Hello

After I launched Oblivion my keyboard wont do anything whilst playing the game. So I restarted my PC to try solve this problem. However when my PC booted up again, I had to log into my Steam account again. But my steam authenticator was appearantly removed. So, this means I cannot get into my steam account again. Anyone else had this issue, or knows what to do?

Skyblivion is a volunteer-based project by the TESRenewal modding group. We aim to bring The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion to a new generation of gamers and re-introduce it to long
time fans of the series. We are currently in the process of porting and rebuilding Cyrodiil along with all of its quests, locations and characters into Skyrim and Skyrim: Special Edition.

Upon release, our mod will be completely modular which means that the player will be able to choose what components he/she wants to have installed. This includes all enhancements
developed by the team such as our Landscaping Overhaul, Interior Overhaul, City Overhaul, Weapon/Armor Overhaul and much more.

SKYBLIVION will be 100% FREE, but in order to play, we require our users to own both Skyrim and Oblivion including the DLCs.
Without these requirements our installer will not install the mod.

I want to let you guys know that this team is working very hard on this mod. It's quite a big team of professional artists. However, they are always looking for more volunteers to work
