27th Inniskilling Regiment of Foot Presents: 27th Official Siege Event This Event has been weeks in the making, and after much time, its happening.
The Event will be on Wednesday at 8pm Eastern Time Zone. Currently we are looking for all regiments except Cav. This Event is supposed to be done and
starts in 1 week.. That is February 18th and ready to go. We hope a lot of you will come and join us for this event as we need regiments. We will be using the maps and seeing what works and maybe even some custom maps. Things might change, but for now what is there is whats happening.
Rules
Line InfantrySpoiler
-Minimum of 6 Players
-If you have more than 10 players you can split your line into 2 lines
-1 officer per line (2 officers if you have more than 16 attendees)
-2 Sergeants max
-Since you are Line infantry, take a musket (Brown Bess, Springfield) not a rifle if you have an option
-No more than half man (unless in cover)
-Since you are Line infantry, take a springfield not a rifle if you have an option
-Fire on Charge is allowed
-Allowed to crouch behind cover
-Can take 2 native scouts per 10 people* Explained later
-Must be in a line of at least 4 to reload
-No reloading if your line has initiated melee combat
-Must be in a line of 3 to reload (Except when inside the fort)
Light Infantry/RiflesSpoiler
Light Infantry: Minimum of 6 players, Maximum of 12
Rifles: Minimum of 5 players, Maximum of 10
-May crouch
-3 Man spacing
-Fire on Charge is allowed
-Must be in a line of at least 3 to reload
-1 Officer max
-1 Sergeant per 5 players
-Cannot split lines(no matter how many attendees)
-No reloading if your squad has initiated melee combat
ArtillerySpoiler
-Minimum of 6 players, Maximum of 12
Minimum of 6 players, Maximum of 12
ATTACKERS:
Maximum of 2 cannons
No rockets
May have one sapper
May take up to 6 arty guards max
Artillery Guard can FOL if within 10 paces from a cannon
Artillery Guard can only fire far away from guns if in line formation
DEFENDERS:
Follow the same rules but may use unlimited artillery
Native American AlliesSpoiler
-May have 2 native Americans Per 10 line infantry
-Natives may Rambo to an extent, for Example, must stay close enough to the Line that if the line were in melee, the natives can come support them
-Max 1 Chief
-Bowmen and Warriors are Allowed
-WIP
General Rules-No trolling
-No abusive behaviour
-No spamming in the chat
-Formations must be maintained when outside a fortress, but when inside ranks may be broken.
-Attackers must have more than 4 men per line before leaving spawn.
-No ramboing, particularly defenders, organised lines may sally forth to fulfill an objective but they must then obey the same formation rules as attackers outside of walls.
-Do not open gates as a defender without probable cause
-Regiments may have 1 sapper per line/Artillery regiment
-Sappers must use the points to help the team, not one regiment (at least put forth an effort)
