Interesting to see that some people don't consider their online friendships as important as their real life ones yet it's contradicted by the vast majority wanting to or having already met people from online. If you're making a paper on this send it my way, would love to read it!

I'd argue they are still less important on average. I've met a lot of people from NW and I'd still say the vast majority of my 'closest' friends are not from NW. Though there are a select few I'd consider amongst my 'close' friends. Simply due to the lack you have an actual in person interaction it's hard to consider them more important in a lot of cases than your 'IRL' friends who not only do I play games online with in most cases I see on a daily/weekly basis.
I think I actually answered neutral on it but yeah I can see where they can be coming from in that regard.

I said to Dom during the interview, the people I’m close to on here I do consider close friends, but the gap between that and the level of online friend or whatever is massive, I think that’s the case for most people where it’s either close or incredibly distant
