For me it's multiple youtuber that made me buy the game back in 2013 and eventually the dlc in 2014, for example:

And boom later I played mount and musket when it came out with the 1er haven’t stopped since. A lot of hours put down into the game but I have met lovely people on this game and I have zero regrets about it

That guy was my favorite YouTuber for a whole year. Guy literally got me into PC gaming with Total War. I was so fascinated with those games. Huge battles you could control? Like holy shit that’s amazing. I tried to buy a hard copy of Napoleon Total War and play it on some shitty Dell laptop. It ran lowest settings at like 10fps. I could also credit him with being the reason I played NW. He’s the reason I started playing PC games.

Prince of macedon and heirofcarthage were pretty big in the total war community especially in the early YouTube days of the game on the platform. The first 3 total war that I bought was Napoleon, medieval 2 and Rome. None of the total wars can come close to them in terms of pure enjoyment in the long run

I don't know if it was that video, but honestly watching the series of siege events, and massive 77y linebattles was the biggest draw for me.

I did enjoy the sight of Mount and Musket, but I never really got to play it all to much.

Pretty similar expect nobody convinced me. Played the original, saw the new opus in a video-game store, instantly bought it. Been there ever since, 10 years.

yup Kootra introduced me to warband too. I watched some guy called Bereghost play warband before Kootra but he has since deleted his channel. Then malekitsht skodei introduced me to NW itself.

In 2011 I found Warband on some torrent game sites (cracked version), played for a while in single player then realized that there was working multiplayer, spend sometime on big sieges, and at one brilliant day some Russian guy on that siege had a discussion with someone about NW. I googled and boom, there is me. Since 2012 to these days.
