Polska!! haha. Australia here! There's a few reenactors still around here so hopefully they come out of the woodwork!Oh. I remember you regiment quite well. From Waterloo 2015. ;)
My Napoleonic reenactment units I'm in are the 21eme (French), NSW Corps (British) and occasionally 42nd Highlanders
UK here and I'm in the 21eme Regiment d'Infanterie de Ligne, (French of course)Mabye we can meet on coming Austerlitz or Leipzig?
Germany - 2nd Light Battalion King's German LegionI remember you from Leipzig and from Waterloo too. Mabye we'll be able to meet there this year. :D
A polish column destroyed us in La Haye Sainte, Waterloo 2015. There I changed buttons with one polish guy who had a 7 on his buttons.
Also I've been in Glatz/Klodzko last year but there were just a few good reenactors and a lot of chaos guys ;D
I'm Dutch but living in Poland.I know Remik from 33e. He was in 12pp for a long time. I saw you in Heilsberg I think. Might we'll meet there this year.
I reenact here the Napoleonic 33eme French (1806).
Then I also reenact mostly in Germany/Netherlands:
Napoleonic: 85eme french (1806,1810,1815), Prussian ostpreußische landwehr, Douanier Imperiales.
WW1: French, WW2: American, ACW: Union, 80years war (or 30 depending who you ask); Dutch Frysian pikemen.
Where exactly will you be then? Any events in East Germany this year? Or Germany/Netherlands/France/Belgium ?Well. We thought about something in Netherlands. Also have some intitations to France. I think we'll focus on Leipzig, mabye Grossbeeren Grossgorschen. Also there are some events in Poland and Czech like Znojmo or Goldberg, Heilsberg and Raszyn.
Almelo is fairly large but I don't think its worth the drive. The location is pretty crap, it has no historical value whatsoever.Good to know. I'll focus on Poland and Germany then.
I also really enjoyed Almelo 2015, but for such a long drive, I really do not think its worth it.
From wich part of Poland are you btw?Well, I'm exactly from eastern Pommerania. I live in Danzig or Gdańsk. Never thought about those two reenactments. ;)
I am realy looking forward to Göhrde this year in September. A nice location and always a very active battle on Saturday (fighting and moving through the streets of a very small villiage and then reaching the main battlefield). Stralsund (also September) might be fun too. I think the reenactment won't be that great but there seems to be a small Streetfight. But I mostly like to go there because I love the town and you don't do a bivouac just next to the baltic sea often ::)

Wow, isn't that ironic..
GB, 44th East Essex Regt of Foot. I cannot attend anymore due to working every weekend. Kind of a bummer I really wanted to get into the re-enactment scene.Good to know that. Hope you'll be able to get into it in the future.
