The 92ème Régiment d'Infanterie de Ligne is a group founded by Mathieu and Albert LeBorgne, on September 30, 2018, following the restructuring of 8eJG. Our regiment was formed around a small group of players, for the pleasure of the game as well as being together and being able to link our passion for this historical time. The latter is not incompatible with our ambitions, which is to make a lasting contribution to the regiments of the French community, and we demand results and seriousness. Covering several types of events like 1v1's, GFs or even battles, we want to open to the widest majority of players. For you members of other regiments of the community who wanted potentially to follow the news of the 92e and the IXe Corps d'Armée, we invite you to subscribe to our youtube channel to be aware of the least results.

- Story of the Battle of Lisaine | 1870  -

In 1870, just back from his second expedition to Algeria, the 92e RI was engaged in the conflict between France and Germany in recent months. On December 18, the 92e R.I made its debut in the conflict by entering Gien as the Germans evacuate. The regiment is part of the Eastern Army commanded by General Bourbaki. This army has been assigned to clear Belfort. On January 9, 1871, the 92e R.I arrives in the evening on the outskirts of Villersexel. In the night of January 9 to 10, the regiment delivers battle in this city. He participated in the assault of the city, specifically responsible for attacking the castle of Grammont. He managed to push the Germans with the bayonet while the castle is on fire. The 92e R.I manages to release 120 French prisoners. Other companies enter Villersexel. He has just participated in one of the rare French victories of this war. he is also famous for the battle of the 3 days of Lisaine.
