Video game industry showcase returns virtually in 2021 with confirmed partners Nintendo, Xbox, Capcom, Konami, Ubisoft, Take-Two Interactive, Warner Bros. Games and Koch Media to participate.
It’s “Game On.” for E3, as The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) officially unveils plans for a reimagined, all-virtual E3 2021 that will engage video game fans everywhere. With early commitments from Nintendo, Xbox, Capcom, Konami, Ubisoft, Take-Two Interactive, Warner Bros. Games, Koch Media, and more to come, E3 2021 will take place June 12 through June 15.
Developers will be showcasing their latest news and games directly to fans around the world. The ESA will be working with media partners globally to help amplify and make this content available to everyone for free.
“For more than two decades, E3 has been the premier venue to showcase the best that the video game industry has to offer, while uniting the world through games,” said Stanley Pierre-Louis, President & CEO of the ESA. “We are evolving this year’s E3 into a more inclusive event, but will still look to excite the fans with major reveals and insider opportunities that make this event the indispensable center stage for video games.”
While maintaining E3’s longstanding position as a central destination for industry networking — where new partnerships and connections between video game publishers, developers and media are made — the digital format for E3 2021 means more people than ever can participate.
The ESA looks forward to coming back together to celebrate E3 2022 in person. In the meantime, see you online this June!

EA surprised me in a positive way. Still pre alpha, but I think this Gonna be good.A surprise to be sure, but not an unwelcomed one. The rest of the EA Play livestream was low energy IMO, as I'm not one into sports games much. Even when Battlefield 1's DLC was discussed, it was short before you had to wait an hour or two to see more footage of it after all the sports games and others. Maybe the Bethesda event tomorrow will be more exciting.

Wow, that Bethesda conference was really bad. I was really hoping for a lot more. :/Yeah, Todd Howard was nowhere to be seen at all this time around. That Creation club system concerns me though with how vague it was on details of how it would work. Like are those 'credits' earned in game or by being a part of the community on forums or do you have to spend money to easily acquire credits or to just acquire them at all? If the latter is the case, well I'm glad the Nexus is around and defiantly existing against Bethesda.net in terms of mods hosted. Freckn' hell.
I was expecting Todd to show up at the end with a big reveal, but I guess we'll have to wait until next year to see what his team has been doing.
How do I get Creation Club content?
Creation Club is available via in-game digital marketplaces in both Fallout 4 and Skyrim Special Edition and purchased with Credits. Credits are available for purchase on PSN, Xbox Live, and Steam. Your Credits are transferable and can be used in both games on the same platform.

Yes. Just like our own game developers, Creators are paid for their work and start receiving payment as soon as their proposal is accepted and through development milestones.
Is Creation Club paid mods?They say it isn't paid-for mods but you must use credits to own the content and those credits are purchased in the platform's store.. probably for money. Which how much of it goes directly to the mod creators? At least existing mods will probably not be able to take advantage of this system. However, this seems to be round 2 of understanding Bethesda's intentions with mods. :-\

Also, we won’t allow any existing mods to be retrofitted into Creation Club, it must all be original content. Most of the Creation Club content is created internally, some with external partners who have worked on our games, and some by external Creators. All the content is approved, curated, and taken through the full internal dev cycle; including localization, polishing, and testing. This also guarantees that all content works together.

I Miss the good old times playing splitscreen with a friend. When I played BF4 I always imagined what it would like if we could have an instant action for Battlefield 4 with all these big game modes. And now we are getting that with 2042. Srsly can't wait. Although, I do understand that having the progression system with the bots is a bit unfair. You can just farm with bots and then go in multiplayer and just play with a level 140 character for example with every gun and gadget that you unlocked in SP. Would be nice if they could split that. Just 2 progression systems for each mode, SP and MP. That said I don't mind it much because I'll be probably playing a lot more against those bots as there are highly customizable settings they said.

I mean comparing it to Red Orchestra 2 is a bit weird considering if you know anything about that game, yes I even agree I way prefered playing against bots but the gameplay is vastly differen't to a Battlefield multiplayer experience. Its supposed to capture that feeling of progression and sheer onslaught of the red army charging at you in the thousands. But that game had no real multiplayer support for ages so you kind of had to play against bots anyway due to the bugs.
