Guys I think we are arguing in circles here. Canadian is generally being used to describe those who had settled in what we now call Canada for the purpose of argument in this thread. I dont think anyone is suggesting Canada had their own government or that the Militia formed were loyal to Canada and not Britain (Canada not being a real entity obviously). I understand a good argument about vocabulary and grammar but I think we can move beyond this and get back to arguing the outcome.
