People keep wishing good luck when he's taking a name thats already being used?   ???

One is NA and the other is EU, maybe you guys could share the reg and use different tags or use the same, it's been done before in the past with the 2ndCS.

Just because it's been done, it doesn't mean everyone wants to do it. My brothers regiment is mainly EU but he still recruit americans.
WeedWacker will NOT share his name.

WeedWhacker does NOT need to share the name. He is the 21-y. We are the 21y.

Also ,we were created on Sept. 1st. I just never got around to a forum post. We also have 11 members, I don't know about the 21-y.  I am speaking as the 21y though.

21y and 21-y is a bit similar, don't you think?
And besides that, it does not really matter when you were made, seeing as you didn't claim the name on the forums.
And how many members you have is not important either, the first regiment that claims the name gets it. And he does not have to keep his roster updated all the time in order for him to keep the name. It's been like this for many people making regiments. You simply have to respect it.

Spoiler
By the way, your header displays British riflemen.

Similairity is not the same as being the same. I'm not changing the name, regardless of what you or your 21-y regiment think of us. Sorry folks, but that's my final answer.

As far as the 95h being on my picture, what of it? I thought it was a cool picture, so I'll keep it. There's simply nothing to respect but a regiment with a simlair name and the same type of unit -rifleman-. Unless you can find a long list of people that think I should change because the two brothers with a similair regiment name want me to, I'm not going to change anything.

As far as I know, you're not allowed to have the same regimental name and a simple "-" is not good enough I'd say. Not sure what the rest of the community thinks,  would the 77y like a 77-y? The K-KA a KKA?
Who knows?
I just know there is a lot of regimental names to choose from, so why pick one so similar?

First off, i didnt even know the 21-y existed beforehand, and its not like we'll ever be in the same events. Plus there are really a LOT of regiment, not a lot of names to use. Sorry for the inconvenience but i just can't change at this point, im to invested. I think we can honestly live in peace if you just accept the fact that we arent even from the same continent..

I mean I'd have teamspeaks, servers, steam groups, members, tags, and a whole new training system to re-do...

Our tags are used as 21y_Col_Gedizz, how about yours Weed whacker? I don't feel it to be neccesary to change my 11 members names and change the steam group and the forum post, even though we are not only from a different side of the planet, but we have more members and different tags

Good luck, btw your signature doesn't link to a working site, and even if I try to go to the main site, it doesn't work.

Thanks, I changed that now xP

You might want to go ahead and put your regiment on the official regiment list.  ::)

Provided you remain as a purely NA regiment (with the slightly different tags) gedizz, then you can keep the regiment name on this thread. However, should an issue come up in the future then the earliest-created 21-y/21y regiment will take priority.

That's because you guys put up the server with the same names as ours.... Don't just ban them because they come in accidentally, jesus christ...
