So what took the longest to do
« on: February 16, 2014, 10:48:08 pm »
As we all know this mod took a long time to make for good reason. I'm just curious about what took the longest out of the 2 years they spent developing the mod.

I'm guessing making it able to play with more than 3 people on at a time.
In theory we could do huge player numbers far over 500 players per server...  As such we will surely keep our promise to deliver you the 500 players per server.

We will probably go (far) over it, but that's for later.

I'm going to say coding and scripting really too. Many moons ago people said machine guns couldn't be done on the Warband engine now.

No, wasn't coding, Danyele and Olafson plus Vincenzo and co. can code as fast as light. In the meantime it was texturin and uv mappin the prob. It still has flaws. Which I will improve later on. Obviously its texturing. Don't you see how well our aeroplane flys and how well textured it was?  :'( :'(
