The Eighteenth Legion

Discipline for the march.
Might for the battle.
Honour for the victorious.

These we all hold high, for without them we would rot as a military unit.
We are the Legio Duodevigesima. We fight for Julius Caesar and his cause.
He must succeed in taking Roma for the people. To uphold its values for the people.

This is a Legion focused on discipline, honour and might in the fight.
Those who can't stand by these three shall be forced to leave the Legion.
We consider ourselves organized, with basic trainings and sparring sessions.
Attempting to hold formation and fight as Romans.

The real Eighteenth Legion was created to attack and rid Sicily of Sextus Pompeius, the son of Gnaeus Pompeius, as Sextus threatened to cut grain supplies. It was later promised to Marcus Antonius for his Parthian campaign, but wasn't delievered, due to the rise of a second civil war between Marcus and Octavius. After the defeat of Marcus, the Legion was transferred to Gaul, and later to Germania, where it was destroyed at the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest, against the Cheruscii leader, Arminius. The Legion was resurrected by Emperor Nero for his campaign plans and later disbanded by Vespasianus.

Thanks. O, I have to say, your own group looks quite tough and organised. I myself would prefer to have a large and organised contubernia system like yours, though I have too few men active to fill more than one, and no officers to support me. (Trouble picking, due to discord between soldiers.) Maybe you have some tips, eh?

Even though on opposite sides, I have to say good luck and I hope to see more of you on the battlefield!
Cheers,

Thanks! And I hope to see more of yourself, Rapid. ;)
