With the pistol buff also comes some nerfing to it, though.

Although it will be more powerful and accurate (I can't remember reading the patchlist last, but it's one of the two or both I remember)  it will also have a slower reload.

I guess this is well needed as well, because 2+ officers can make a problem when firing at the same intervals.

Personally I can't wait, being in a Regiment with a marines detachment already we have plans to make use of this patch and hope we can participate in some sort of naval battles.  And the pistol buff will be a wonderful addition too.

It's not like Austria and Prussia and Russia had navies worth noting.
