After two years, I am so happy to finally say I am done with this cancerous community. Over the past year or so this community went from being alright, where at least everyone was respectful, to being the worst community I have ever seen in a game, where one single comment will spark a flame war, and where people insult people for making a regiment or disbanding one.
I know no one really cares that I am going, but I just wanted to make it known to some people out there. I still continue to play with my regiment, the 1stEPI, in our small enclosed part of the community where everyone is still actually respectable and has sense left. I am done posting on these forums and checking them, and playing on public NW servers.
I would like to thank all those people have that made this game fun and that are still cool, and I would also like to give a massive fuck you to all those that have always and continue to make this community the horrible cancer it has turned into.

We were in a bit of a low spot for a few weeks there, but the officers have recently met and worked out our issues and a plan to work through it. It may be true that this group isn't as glorious as our predecessors. It's true we haven't reformed into the mold I boldly claimed months earlier. But we're working on smoothing things out and if it were easy then we wouldn't be changing a damn thing.
The officers, the rankers, many of them have served with me for years and we got lazy. Then we tried to change and got lazy again. But it was just an obstacle, and we're on our way to being better than we ever were.
It's a journey and one that I know we can accomplish. I'm surrounded by incredibly capable and intelligent dudes, a conglomerate of talented individuals from the spectrum of NW, one that I'm very thankful for. I know now for a fact that we won't fail. There may be more bumps but I'm confident that at the end we'll be a better regiment than we ever have been.

We were in a bit of a low spot for a few weeks there, but the officers have recently met and worked out our issues and a plan to work through it. It may be true that this group isn't as glorious as our predecessors. It's true we haven't reformed into the mold I boldly claimed months earlier. But we're working on smoothing things out and if it were easy then we wouldn't be changing a damn thing.
The officers, the rankers, many of them have served with me for years and we got lazy. Then we tried to change and got lazy again. But it was just an obstacle, and we're on our way to being better than we ever were.
It's a journey and one that I know we can accomplish. I'm surrounded by incredibly capable and intelligent dudes, a conglomerate of talented individuals from the spectrum of NW, one that I'm very thankful for. I know now for a fact that we won't fail. There may be more bumps but I'm confident that at the end we'll be a better regiment than we ever have been.
