EU 2v2 sword + musket Contest - ESMC

Greetings fellow daoists hoho. This grandaddy, I, is hereby announcing the second 2v2 sword + musket tournament in NW history, where the mightiest swordsman and musketman duo of 2019 shall be decided by the heavens! Good luck, and may fate smile upon you! Aside from fame, glory and favour of the heavens, a prize of immense value shall be awarded to the winners. . .
P.S. The credit for the thread goes to my buddy Hannibaru, the host of the previous 2v2 sword + musket tournament, whose thread I have brazenly. . .borrowed hoho.


1. All the fights will be conducted on February 3, at 8pm gmt.
2. The factions for the tournament are the UK and Prussia and will be randomly assigned to each team at the start of their fight.
3. Only line infantry units are to be used - the officer class for the sword player and the ranker class for the musket player.
4. No shooting, trolling and (excessively) trashtalking.
5. No picking up weapons of the opposite class (e.g. a sword player cannot pick up a musket).
6. Stay spec until you are called out.
7. You are allowed to switch class in between rounds (no exchanging weapons when the round has already begun).
8. Show up on time - not turning up 3 minutes after your match has been announced will lead to your automatic elimination.
9. You are to sign up with a team of up to 3 players (2 main players and 1 extra).
10. Failure to abide by the rules will result in either a warning with a point deduction or disqualification depending on the severity of the transgression.
11. The glorious prize is 110 Mexican pesos hoho. . .

Grey_Warden's 2v2 Sword Tournament

CONGRATS TO 3 BEST NW DUOS!
1st place: Rainbow Knights Division 0
2nd place: OROSPU
3rd place: Nederlandse Beesten

Everyone is allowed to participate and there'll be no limit to the amount of teams. The point of the tournament is to test participants' individual sword prowess combined with teamwork in order to choose the 3 best sword duos on NW and obviously have a great time playing together! 

Rules:

1. All matches will be first to 5s except for the semi-finals, finals and the bronze match, which will be first to 7s

2. This will be a direct elimination type of tournament, so nobody will get a second chance if they lose

3. No trolling, which includes delaying rounds, insulting people, shooting and spamming the chat.

4. Teams are allowed to have up to 3 players, but only 2 are allowed to play at the same time.

5. Spawn only when you're told to spawn, otherwise stay spectator.

6. Only line infantry officers and swords are allowed to be used.

7. The UK and Prussia will be the factions used.

8. Melee speed will be on medium.
