Statement by Dan & Dan PC on behalf of "Fireboy"

June 6th, 2020 - Last Evening during a scrimmage between Squirtle Squad and BONK, fellow Squirtle Squad team member VetroG verbally assaulted Fireboy using racially charged statements, and homophobic and racial slurs. VetroG then proceeded to further target his fellow Squirtle Squad teammate Theodin and the recently deceased George Floyd. We will not stand for this. Not only is it disgusting that VetroG even used these racial slurs in the first place but doubly so during these trying times of heightened sensitivity following the death of George Floyd, whose name VetroG invoked. Due to this, Fireboy has decided to reflect on his role in Squirtle Squad and if he decides to continue playing for a team whose abbreviated name, SS, references a Nazi organization, who oppressed minorities during World War 2 and are frequency mentioned and associated with by White Supremacists and Neo-Nazis in the current day, then Fireboy will visibly show his support of those minorities by kneeing.
