Thanks for the stupid remark which doesn't invalidate my point that it wouldn't have been difficult to adjust the number of teams to suit the number of players to minimize the number of people left out. I have 2500 hours on Warband, plenty on NW, and I don't remember you as a particularly good player either :^).

I mean theres always undrafted people within a draft and 6 teams for me works better than what 7 teams would of. Gotta say though I really did not expect to get as many sign ups as we have had.

To be fair this is a competitive DRAFT league. No one is guaranteed a spot, there's $250 to win and yeah captains are going to pick people they know can groupfight. If no one really knows who you are or if you haven't been in many comp events then you have a lower chance of being picked.
