Welcome to the Napoleonic Wars Pickup Parties! Originated from NA (Native and NW), Pickup Parties can vary from 5v5 to 15v15 groupfighting matches with 2 volunteer team captains picking each team 1 by 1 until there are no players left. To take a part in this you should join a steam group (https://steamcommunity.com/groups/nwpickuppartieseu), wait for an announcement from admins and then join our official TeamSpeak. Unofficial matches can be at any time but official matches will be at 8 PM GMT

Basic Rules (cannot be changed by captains):
§ 1 All players must be respectful and act in a mature manner during the pickup party. Cussing and trashtalking will not be tolerated. Requested bans are allowed.
§ 2 Only rankers are allowed, and only line infantry are allowed (footguard's do not fall under the category of line infantry).
§ 3 Do not scream/spam messages in TeamSpeak.
Match Rules (may be changed by captains):
§ 4 Matches are first to 15.
§ 5 Melee speed is medium.
§ 6 Resets will only be given if no melee has taken place.
§ 7 Do not join a team when you're not playing the match from the start.
§ 8 Only Admins can organise Official Matches, that count towards the leaderboard. Moderators can organise non-official games.
Rankings explained
§ 1 Points work in 2 ways, the first way is your KD difference, and then the second way is by winning and losing matches. Your overall KD difference will be added up overtime forming the main bulk of your points for the monthly seasons. You then gain and lose additional points by winning (+10 points) or losing (-5 points). Also if you Captain the match, you get +15 for a win instead of +10 then you lose the same amount of points as members (-5 points). This should add extra value to being a Captain and make more people want to go captain for once.
E.g. VoluGOD goes 32-15 then wins the game (as a captain) that is +17 KD Difference + 15 points for the win (+10 for member) so for that match he would gain 32 points. On the other end of the spectrum, if ThrowUpTheBad goes 7-16 then loses the match, his KD Difference is -9 then -5 points for a loss so overall -14 points for that match.
§ 2 As mentioned above, there shall be monthly seasons which consist of 2-3 official matches/sessions minimum per week, accumulating to hopefully around 8-12 official matches/sessions a month. Points will now be done by screenshots at the end of a match, due to competitive scoring being available therefore making it easier to keep track of team kills etc. So if you participate at the start of the match and leave before we can take screenshots at the end (Rage quit, leave without saying) then I will default -10 KD and -5 points for loss.

§ 4 If you spawn in during an Official Match without being there at the start, then you will only get the points for your KD Difference and not for the win. The chances are, you walked into a winning team and I want points to truly reflect every player more accurately so you will still get the win but no points for the win.
