Well, no. Fuer immediately pushes the tense into the accusative, making "der Kaiser" which is masculine(=der, the only nominative possibility) den. As the masculine accusative is "den" not "die" which is feminine, or "der" which is nominative.
Well they wouldn't have to, as they'd know it is, "Fuer den Kaiser". Germans don't go around mislabeling things in their own language, we aren't going to go and call a bloody table, a cat...unless you're high.
You are correct, but an umlaut can also be written as an "oe", "ue", "ae", etc. Seeing as I am both not German and too lazy to go get an umlaut, "fuer" is perfectly correct as it means the same thing.
I will give myself thirty blows to the head to make up for this disgrace of the German language.
