| Welcome!
The IX Corps d'Armée Francais is proud to announce the establishment of the duel Tuesday and Friday Linebattle events. The aim and strive of these events is to be a notch above other community hosted linebattles in both administration, consistency and experience. The focus is to provide an event and linebattle experience free from pettiness whether it be drama or trolling and focus on having a true rewarding linebattle experience. To achieve this end we have a full administration and organization staff working to ensure the event runs smoothly and that all the participating regiments have a fair rewarding experience. This also achieved not just by the event hosts but by the attending regiments as well. All participating regiments are of high caliber both in their individual performance but as well in how they conduct themselves both in their interior and exterior actions with other regiments. Regiments who do not measure up to these qualities and expectations will not remain as attendees. This is done to provide an heir of competition and professionalism leading to a quality linebattle experience.
This linebattle administration includes Cavalry, Skirmishers and Artillery to add a tactical edge to the event and allow the opportunity to launch combined arms attacks upon the opposing team. Success can in a large part be determined to the team that bests utilizes these special roles to their advantage. The groups who will make up these roles due to their importance and vital to their team are expected to be proficient in their role. Often these positions will be taken by dedicated regiments to these positions. Rules for the special roles and how you can apply for them can be found near the bottom of the thread.

| Event Rules and Expectation
As already stated the drive of this event is to provide a quality, challenging and consistent linebattle experience for all participants. This is done in part by the event organizers but critically rests upon the shoulders of the attending regiments. With this in mind our expectations of our attendees are naturally high. The Officers of each regiment will be held responsible for the actions of their rank and file. If regiments do not meet our expectations they will be replaced. The hosts reserve the right to remove any attending regiment at any time for any reason seen fit.

Instruction for Regiment Leaders
Contacts
It is recommended you add on steam the head admins and the assistant admin to remain in easy contact. All admins and moderators can be found both through this thread and via our steam group. Scifi of the 33e is the principle contact for unit officers to go through and regiments wishing to join the event.
Server Password and Pre Battle Drill
Unit leaders are expected to join teamspeak roughly Ten minutes prior to the linebattle's start. The event uses the IX Corps d'Armee Teamspeak ( ts.ixecorps.com ). The admins and the unit leaders will meet in the "Linebattle Administration" channel. At the start of the event time the server and password will be given out and the unit leaders will begin to have their members join the server. Once teams are selected and balanced there will be roughly 15 minutes of drill before the event goes live. You may not engage any other regiments in combat or impeding their drill in any form. This is seen as violation of the event rules.
