Great work as always, but I am curious about a few things.

First, what engine this will use? From what I understand they will not use the Warband engine, so I am pretty curious.

Also on the multiplayer side, will there be server lists, and what is the limit for people on a single server?

I would also love to know what you guys are doing to combat the lag issues that plagued Napoleonic Wars as well.

1. It's the Unity Engine

2. Yes, limit at the start is around 500 by my guess?

3. The lag was due to poor servers and the game engine just being extremely outdated. With the Unity Engine game lag should effectively disapear unless you're on a far away/poor server.

Also... Here is the gun from a few different perspectives, without any normal/specular map, as we felt that the one shown in the blog might not be the best one.

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD MAN! That is one detailed smooth-bore cannon.

Say I was wondering, the thing that bothered me in NW was that there was a ramrod in the cannon's frame that soldiers grabbed. Can you add in a system where we can grab the rod from the cannon instead of spawning with it? When you grab it the rod disappears from the frame, and if you die it drops on the ground.
