Small Regiments read this!
« on: October 29, 2013, 11:13:52 pm »
Hi, I am Drummer from the 44e and we are looking for small regiments (5-10) active who would like to merge into a bigger regiment, which improves the fun of the game. We have been around a long time, and we assure you that depending on the person, your leader, and maybe some high up guys will get eiter an officer rank or NCO.Its alwalys better to be part of a bigger regiment, and I assure you all of our guys are great. If you are interested, we are a french regiment with line, volt, and arty. More people means we can run more detachments smoother so please contact me on steam, Drummer (Pic with Jim Carrey) Don's be afraid to just talk to us and see what we can work out!
Sincerely,
[44e]Cpt_Drummer

I understand that regiments always want to merge and what not, but the point of creating a regiment is usually some sort of independence from a higher being...why merge a small regiment that has 10 active guys into a group full of people no one knows? It might be better pointing them in the direction of the How To: Recruiting thread.

It gives a chance for people to get to know each other. This community is alwalys getting smaller so having 100 small regiments wont help.

If there are so many small regiments falling apart every so often, why not just cash in on the recruiting? Plus, suicide merging* isn't always the option!

Still, i was just saying that for regiments not wanting to be small anymore, this is a good way instead of recruiting. Our guys are very likable as im sure all of yours are as well.

Rule 8 of Regiment Etiquette

- Mergers never prosper

63e merged with many regiments and is going great.
"No man will make a great leader who wants to do it all himself or get all the credit for doing it."- Andrew Carnegie
“A man who has no conscience, no goodness, does not suffer.” - Khaled Hosseini

Funny thing is that most small regiments have never even heard or used this forum.
