I think it's Central Florida, because I just had an IRL friend try it and he experienced the same thing. Had my cousin on the other side of town try and it and the same thing happens

Can't really complain about the map size when your team doesn't use the whole map.  You played a tight formation and the map won't be changed due to a few people who complain.
