I think 1812 was more of a loss for the USA, since the government there wanted to annex Canada, they failed, the British burnt down the presidential residence, which was later called the white house and so on.

The War of 1812 was a Victory of the mind. The nation weant through a trying period and survived. This ushered in the "Era of Good Feelings" in the US and strengthened the National Government which allowed us to move west. Yes we got our buts whooped in most fights but in the end it was a Victory that wasent on paper.

 The Indians definitly lost though.

 On a relevant note it would be cool to see this mod come out but to my knowledge Hinkell has closed development of it.
