Texture packs increasing ping?

Well , i have no idea if its possible or not , but using loads of texture packs (make them combined in same brf files etc) will increase the ping or cause lag ?

Last 1-2 weeks (since i wanted something fresh in game and start making little collection of texture packs ) i have x2 more ping on the servers i am playing oftenly. My connection speed is same except warband , so i wonder if i use something different than default texture and models will affect connection speed in game?

Little note : My fps is still good in-game , but the ping is unbearable.

Any ideas?

Using custom textures and models is all clientside, it has nothing to do with connection to servers.

I would contact your ISP, It's obviously an external issue if your FPS is fine.

the only way to know for sure would be to delete those texture packs and see if your ping lowers

Definetly not. Impossible.

Texture packs can affect your in game FPS for sure, but not textures unless the game is downloading textures
