Questions regarding servers
« on: January 06, 2013, 07:08:35 pm »
My buddy Sparrow and I hopped on to the NA Zulu server and I must say I was very impressed with how much work has been done in a short amount of time.

Because we were getting overrun, we built small sandbag towers to shoot from and did really well. However we started getting tked with people telling us we were delaying with no word from an admin. In fact I was running towards the battle and a got a bullet in the back from the same guy who tked and said "stop delaying". I went 27-7 with two of my deaths coming by tk so it wasn't like I wasn't playing the game.

There was no action taken, in fact it looked like the admins actually supported tking us.

I read the server rules before I got on. Never saw anything against small sandbag towers. We even built redoubts with earthwork step ups earlier. So my question is this. If this was wrong what made the tking right? That was in the server rules and again no action was taken other than the admin finally saying "Stop the sapper spam".

Sounds like a bit of a bad experience. Which server was it? There's a couple in NA I think...

In the rounds before you got tked, you were just wasting the time as the last one alive.
The guy who tked you might wanted to this not happen again.
And no I was not admin on that Server.

That would still be absolute no reason to teamkill what so ever.

Crozade, no excuse; if he was genuinely holding out, and not just plank-laddering to the skies, then he shouldn't have been punished.

Crozade the guy you were defending went to the EU server shooting his teamates saying "NO RETREAT". We were building redoubts and defending them while the rest of you eithier charged or got wiped easily. Again my score was 27-7 I wasn't delaying. In fact my friend fended off three last remaining zulus in melee for our only round win.

Next round...tk. And you were cool with it. Anyways I'm glad this wasn't the position of the dev team. I love the mod and you will see FKI guys throughout the servers with [impi] tags.

Was that guy's name something along the lines of "Boh-Lee"? He shot me in the back shouting a similar thing.
