NWMC | Conclusion
« on: April 27, 2023, 03:53:42 pm »
Well, that's it! One of the most extensive and high-quality (in my opinion) groupfight projects in the league format has come to an end! I would like to thank each member of the organizational team separately, but you guys have already heard enough from me in our Steam chat, and I hope that if NW doesn't die completely, then in the near future, we will continue to organize the best tournaments together. Also, a huge thank you to all the referees who participated in NWMC; each of you approached the matter with enthusiasm and a great desire to help! The team and I are very grateful for this!

Despite the comments and complaints of some players, I think the tournament went great overall, and it can be said that it was one of the most successful league format groupfight tournaments in the last 5-6 years. Complaints were mainly due to the match schedule because in the current form in which NW exists, people do not play as actively, and some teams had problems with this, leading to discussions with me and other organizers about rescheduling matches, etc. Nevertheless, we were able to follow the schedule precisely and did not postpone the tournament for a single day (except for the final), for which I am very grateful and glad that the teams were able to step out of their comfort zone to play this league in full. There were also some small complaints about the servers. A lot can be written about servers because the well-known "company" Arctic Servers scammed us, selling us German servers as French ones and simply ignoring a large amount of time. However, it doesn't make much sense to write about it now since I doubt that anyone will buy anything from them in the current reality, so let it be on their conscience.

There were also a huge number of positive comments, especially regarding statistics and match reviews, for which we are also very grateful!

I would like to congratulate The Round Table team, which passed to the playoffs of the first league without a single loss and won this tournament fairly confidently. Also, my congratulations to Infinite, which assembled their team only for this tournament and justified their status as favorites, reaching the final of the first league and taking second place. I think FrenchTouch and Impact also deserve congratulations since they won the second league and took second place, respectively. Well, and congratulations to all the other teams that the tournament is over, and you played it to the very end (which is rare nowadays lol).

I didn't quite manage to write everything structured and more objectively, but I would be glad to receive your feedback on the tournament and whether you enjoyed participating in it. Thank you guys again, and good luck!
