I played the beta before, and it's alright. Not worth a monthly subscription when it comes out though.

From what I've seen it looks like just another MMO that made small incremental advances or borrowed from previous ones, but set in Tamriel. I have a strong feeling that it will be pretty awful, and enrage my sensibilities like Oblivion and Skyrim did :/
In theory we could do huge player numbers far over 500 players per server...  As such we will surely keep our promise to deliver you the 500 players per server.

We will probably go (far) over it, but that's for later.

I was very disappointed in the art style and architecture in Oblivion. Books in Morrowind reference Cyrodiil as being a jungley tropical region, and it was kind of cool and unusual (in a good way) to have the dominant race be white Romanesque humans that live in a jungle, it was cool. Oblivion changed all that by making it be boring, overdone, standard medieval Europe, with nothing exciting like in Morrowind's alien landscape and flora.

Add to that the fact that there're annoying restrictions like "Can't kill and loot the Emperor/any main NPC", and the abominably implemented power attacks, horses, and factions, and I have to say that I really didn't like Oblivion.

Looked cool but I'm quite dissapointed. Looks like just another mmorpg. Couldn't they just made a 4-player coop Skyrim!!!!!!

Looks pretty good, and I've got the beta for the weekend, but I'm pissed that you can't play the Imperials. They have their own faction in the game and everything. The ESO trailers show them wearing Roman-like armour, which just looks awesome.

High Elves actually look decent in this though, so I'll probably play them.

Makes no sense at all why the Nords teamed up with the darks elves and lizards...

I'm in the beta too as of recently, I think a lot of people are. I lost all excitement for this game, from what I have seen it just looks like casual console garbage with a high subscription fee.
