Welcome to the sixth tournament of EGS Season 3 hosted by Voluble & DarkTemplar. . This season we had doubled our admin team and capacity to incorporate two leagues to create a pyramid system in the competitive community, we hope you enjoy this pyramid and format and we hope you continue to back us to look after the state of the community!
The tournament will be hosted on Sunday the 6th of Feburary at 20:00GMT. There will be a transfer ban for this tournament. The tournament will be played in the standard 7v7 format. Teams will have to fight their way through a groupstage in order to claim victory.

Every team must read the following rules as they are very important and EGS rules are different compared to normal tournaments.
We were kind of disappointed by seeing that even some captains didn't even read the rules. Please, read it all.

Roster Rules - Rosters are capped at 9 people as you are aware. - Players MUST sign up with their community names ONLY. No roleplay names allowed. - Must also use community faces rather than randomized ones OR you face punishment (refer to EGS Rules) - Transfer deadline is set at 5pm (17:00 GMT) the day before every tournament . After that, not a SINGLE change will be allowed. [close]

General Rules - Melee speed will be set on medium. - The only class allowed is the line infantry. - You aren't allowed to spawn if you are not playing. - All matches will be ft7, apart from the Final (ft10). - A good behaviour is expected. Insulting/toxicity will lead to 1 warning then a suspension from matches. - Cheating once will result in a permanent ban of any future EGS tournaments. - ID MUST be provided, if not, players with ID's missing won't be allowed to play. It can result in a temporary ban or even more. [close]

Match Rules - Once a match has been called, each team has ~5 minutes to get ready. - If the first round is not started within ~5 minutes, the responsible team will be punished, as 1 round will be awarded to their opponents. - After each round, each team has ~1 minutes before they must have typed 'r' again. - If the next round is not started within ~1 minutes, the responsible team will be punished, as 1 round will be awarded to their opponents. -The rules above are controlled by the referee - if the referee says ~5 or ~1 minutes is up, then the time is up. -If there is clear delaying in a duel at the end of a round after 2 minutes then a warning to the fight will be given. If the player continues to delay or run from the duel then the admin can slay the player. -In any case of a server crash/map change if it is to happen, then all current rounds WILL be VOIDED. -tiebreaks will be; 1- wins vs tied opponents ; 2 - points [close]

Introduction Spoiler Welcome to the last 7v7 League 1 tournament of this season. The season so far has had its up's and downs with many teams leaving putting envy undisputedly at the top for the last 2 tounaments. [close]

Prediction Spoiler Envy is the team to beat this Sunday. With a roster to be desired they were able to win the last tournament with a clearly intense final vs invictus. Invictus actually were able to take the most rounds, 8 to be exact in the finals vs the reigning champions. Envy actually lost the last 7v7 tournament to 10C, a team that disbanded since then. This 7v7 tournament is probably going to be their redemption tournament as they strive to earn their 4th gold medal this season. Last time we saw Enigma losing their place to invictus in the finals. Facing the Third best team in the season wasn't easy for the Germans but they hope that this time will be different. Due to 10C's disband, Enigma is the new second place in the standings. This will help to secure a final with envy. They will try their best to get at least a top 4 finish or maybe higher. The competition behind Envy is on the other hand very tight. Invictus dominated the last 6v6 up untill the finals with players like Golden, Herishey and Clash taking the forefront of the stage. Drug Abusers, EyeFuckers and Animals could all be the runner ups. Animals have a rather strong roster with Marquez and zenon both joining. Invictus is probably the team with the highest possibility to reach the final this Sunday, as long as they don't have to face Envy before it. Fluss, CCCP and NPP are probably the three teams that will have the toughest time in the whole tournament. As usual these teams from the lower midfield will try to steal either rounds against the top teams or even win again some midfield teams. Snappers, a midfield team in League 1, is trying to push its limits this tournament. With the addition of TwisteR, they have a good CIS player, that will try to help Snappers to reach new heights. EyeFuckers showed close but convincing matches in the 5v5 but failed to perform in the 6v6.   [close]

Not a very good tournament from me (I blame last night) but still glad to place on the podium. Gg to everyone especially Animals who outplayed us today. Hopefully, in the playoffs, we can give you a better fight. Zenon and Marquez just fisted us a bit today.
