I have had the privilege of seeing the 2ndSC play live. Definitely a talented group
Of course, I also think lines should be able to move in double rank without having emotional breakdowns.

those you're going to include are rather flat. I understand that it's all about saving money and cutting costs, but arent the most beautiful songs of that war (+Dixieland) worth it?

Well you'll need to find a choir and an orchestral accompaniment that's willing to do it for a reasonable price and then negotiate royalties/earnings/etc and that type of negotiation can go on for months and quality may not always be assured.A full choir/orchestral ensemble would be $$$$$$...

I think FSE was aiming for period authenticity in this case as well as staying within the budget. Sometimes you can find already made music that is royalty free so if you happen to find something epic and on theme with a decent licensing agreement then by all means feel free to link to it for consideration.

In my opinion, the developers choice sound better. More authentic.
