RulesThe tournament will Have a group stage. There will be 2 groups with (fingers crossed depending on signups) 4 teams in each group. The top 3 teams of each group will advance and the first seed in each group will receive a bye.
Tiebreakers will go off of rounds won. [1] Melee speed will be set to fastest
[2] Line infantry must be selected
[3] All matches will be ft5, until the quarter-finals where it is an ft7, and finals being an ft10.
[3] You are expected to not be toxic. Taking things too far will lead to punishment by the admin team possibly forfeiting your team rounds. Use your heads it's meant to be fun for everybody.
[4] Roleplaying names are allowed as long as you or your captain make it known who each player is when asked.
[5] No cheating of any kind will be allowed. If you or your team are suspected of cheating, the cheater will be kicked out and an emergency sub will be replacing them. If an emergency sub cannot be found, the team will be forfeited from the tournament.
[6] Do not interfere with other matches.
[7] Once a match is called, teams have 5 minutes to start their match, If a team does not have their players ready, they will be forfeited.
[8] Timezone is EST any times communicated from the admin team will be EST
[9] If a map change or server crash happens, Resume matches on whatever round they were on. For example team 1 is up 3-2 and the server crashed. When teams get back on resume match at 3-2.
*ruleset is subject to change rules will be finalized on the day of the tournament.Randomization ProcessThe Admin team will rank players based on their performance from the last draft league and on their mechanical skills. Each player will then be placed into tiers Ranging from 1-7 (can change based on signups). After players are tiered, they will be randomly assigned to teams. The admin team will be allowed to switch these randomized teams if any teams look unbalanced after randomization.
Captains will have no say on who is on their teams and they will still be placed in their respective tiers. All the captain's job is to communicate with their teammates and make sure they all show up.
