Wow, this thread is pretty dead, Zed.

Starting to get into mods now. Strictly sticking to settlement things I'd actually get use out of. I'm working on a market in the Starlight Drive-In, it's been making me about 50-100 caps minimum each day, with three tier 3 shops and like four tier 2. Currently got Vault-Tec Rep working there, trying to get the other guys I need to get tier 4 shops. Idk why, but some of the most enjoyment I've gotten so far from the game is the simple back and forth between building up my settlement and exploring/questing, at the end of which I'd have the supplies to build more.

I am at 80% happiness for a couple of settlements. Speaking of, what should I do to increase the happiness rating to 100? For the trophy/achievement.

The way that I know of is putting down radios (maybe other decorations help?) and stores, making sure there's more than enough defense so that raiders don't want to ever attack it, etc. Apparently raiders attack when the total food+water+stuff > defense, so it's good to keep some well equipped guards and turrets all over. Spotlights are great because they count for defense and add some light, which is something that's hard to do in settlements, since there's a disturbing lack of generated light from all but two (the smallest) light sources. But that's just aesthetic.

I like trains
Let's get this back on track (pun intended)

Spoiler
[close]

I am quite excited about how modifications will work for Fallout 4. There is now an estimated timetable for the Creation Kit (G.E.C.K.) in April. The planned DLC revealed thus far is good, but we all know mods are what make Bethesda's games better by tenfold.

Probably, at least they will add some world-building elements as official add-ons do. Far Harbor will be a prime example to expand on the lore of Fallout. Although there is no way in hell I am beta testing the DLCs, I know Bethesda, I choose intact save games.

I still find the idea of mods on consoles as inconceivable. How is that going to work? Yeah, expect lag. Todd Howard mentions about it now, so lag confirmed for console mods.

its cool to see a trailer 100% in the game with minimal editing done. automatron was cool, but wasteland workshop seems to go hand in hand with it, if you can make robots battle and pimp out your *spoilers* after beating *spoilers* to make it actually a cool *spoilers*.

Thanks for the settlement happiness reply Audiate. I meant to reply to you to say my thanks, better late than never. I have since invested in the ability to build stores with Local Leader perk when I go for that achivement/trophy.

The Creation Kit (G.E.C.K.) is coming and with it, the flood of mods.
