I played some today at a friend's house. The reason why it wouldn't win much is that it's overambitious. The crafting system honestly doesn't feel like scavenging, it just feels like your digging through shit and taking whatever and getting parts from it that may or may not be what you need, but you're sure you'll get it eventually if you just loot more and more shit. The building system is also pretty flawed in my opinion, that shit's super clunky and difficult to work with if you don't have a few hours to work on a building.
