The 43rdQL's Sunday Conquest Event
Welcome to the 43rdQL's Conquest Event! We use our very own custom designed maps to ensure the event is high quality! The event consists of 2 rounds with the balance being given out at 19:00 GMT. If you have any questions add Rojoyerf, or Makk on steam and if you wish to join the event submit an application using the sign-up format further down the page.

Rules:

-Team killing is only permitted as an execution within a regiment.
-No reloading in charge (RiC).
-Can only leave spawn in groups of 5 minimum
-Each Regiment is allowed one surgeon
-When the round is live there will be a short period to line up before you can leave HQ, which will be ended by the admin
-The enemy HQ cannot be taken before all other flags are under your team's control
-When in, or around, buildings you are fighting in 'CQB' mode (Close Quarters Battle)
-A single regiment/company can only spawn at one flag at a time (I.e you can't have members spawning at multiple flags at once)

Class-Specific Rules:
Line Infantry
-5 men minimum to move out of spawn
-No Firing out of Line
-No Firing in Charge
-May Fic and Fol when in CQB
-May spawn at any flag

#How we suggest you play#
Line are in their element when they're defending a point or backing an assault on enemy held positions

Light Infantry

-Firing out of light line is allowed
-No change for CQB
-May spawn at any flag

#How we suggest you play#
Light infantry are an ideal assault class. Always try and be on the offensive to gain ground for the team

Skirmishers/Riflemen
-3 men minimum to move out of spawn
-May move out of spawn in groups of 3
-Firing in Charge is allowed
-Firing out of skirm line is allowed
-No change for CQB
-May spawn at any flag

#How we suggest you play#
Skirms are a very versatile role at this event. You can spread across the map to harrass enemy units at range or support fellow lines in both offensive and defensive roles. You should try to be near the front lines as much as possible.

Cavalry
-5 men minimum to move out of spawn
-No Lancers
-Dragoons must dismount to fire
-When dismounted cavalry act as line
-Can only spawn at their HQ flag
-Cannot capture flags
-Can Assist infantry in capturing flags if there are at least 5 infantry there

#How we suggest you play#
At the start of the round cavalry should aim to push as much as possible so the rest of the team can advance. Cav should also try to cut off enemy reinforcements and assist fellow infantry in taking heavily defended points.

Artillery
-Can have up to two sappers
-Only two cannons can be used at once by one team across all arty regs
-Are allowed sappers.
-Arty guards can act as lights
-Explosives and plank smamming is forbidden

#How we suggest you play#
Most maps may not have a typical arty placement and therefore arty needs to be played differently. Arty should push up to places where they can bombard enemy held positions in an attempt to aid friendly units.

The 43rdQL & 9thRC's Saturday Siege Event
Welcome to the 43rdQL and 9thRC Co-organized Saturday Siege event! We use our very own custom designed maps to ensure the event is high quality! The event consists of 2 rounds that last 25 minutes each starting at 19:00 GMT. If you have any questions add Rojoyerf or Makk on steam and if you wish to join the event submit an application using the sign-up format further down the page.


Rules:

-Team killing is only permitted as an execution within a regiment.
-Fire in charge is allowed (FiC)
-No reloading in charge (RiC).
-Can only leave spawn in groups of 5 (if defending may return to the point the regiment is holding if it's not being overrun).
-Must enter the fort with your regiment.
-As attackers while you are in the fort you must be in a group of at least 5, if you go below this you cannot advance any further in the fort and can either return to friendly troops or hold out until you get reinforcements.
-Each Regiment is allowed one sapper, look under sapper rules for what the sapper can do.
-Each Regiment is allowed one surgeon
-There is a 2 minute grace period for preparation, use it productively.
-During the grace period no fighting is allowed and attackers are forbidden to approach the fort

Class-Specific Rules:
Line Infantry
General:
-May use sappers
-May use 1 or more artillery pieces at the discretion of the organizers (view artillery rules for more details)
Offensive:
-When approaching the fort you must be in a tight line, however you may disperse into a charge once inside (while still following the no less than 5 rule)
Defensive:
-May use a loose formation (if any at all) but the regiment should remain roughly together as lack of coordination will lead to an easy defeat.

-Recommended to occupy defensive positions in buildings

General:
-Can leave spawn and move in groups of 3
-Cannot take any sappers

Defensive:
-Recommended to take decent firing positions in small groups to harass the enemy.

Artillery
General:
-Can have at least 1 cannon for every 10 people in the regiment. Can have more if slots are available but must ask permission from the admin and extra cannons ma be removed at any time.
-Only 1 man is allowed per cannon.
-Maximum number of artillery slots per team is 5.

Sappers

Please note that overplacing of explosives will lead to an instant temp-ban for the perpetrator. Please take care to avoid any misconceptions

General:
-Line, lights and artillery regiments may have a sapper.
-Defence spamming/towering is not allowed (this includes building them up afterwards)
-No Plank spamming is allowed
-Giant earthworks are not permitted
Offensive:
-Each regiment may use one charge consisting of 2 explosive crates.
-Can build defences to scale walls but without spamming and they must be fully built.
Defensive:
-Explosives are forbidden
-Blocking doorways with earthworks is forbidden
-Plank walls are forbidden
